★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am facing the same problem as Nitin Pandey stated for foreclosure and LOD. However, get need to get things done asap. Please anyone guide me how to escalate things to make it faster. I have tired escalating through mails to their seniors too, however, they are so rigid and careless that nothing works. @NITIN can I get your contact no. need to talk to u, as u have gone through the same.

It is such a pthaetic banker that if you take top 5 pthatic banker around the world they would be in no. 1 position not less than that.
Customer service is on their shoes, they never respond to calls, foget mails.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor service and there process is very old fashioned. Most imp thing is they dnt mention all the document in LOD even if they have original copy. I think this is illegal aslo. They do this bcz we customer need to update the LOD in this case and they charge Rs.590 which is their earning stratergy. Plus to update the LOD they take 25 day which is non sense. Other banks are way more ahead in all aspects. Dnt ever take loan from LICHFL.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have made your mind to opt a home loan from LIC HFL then do not think of executing your home loan from Borivali branch.
They are pathetic in their approach and doesn't value customer time and efforts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience I have ever received from this useless Finance Institute.
Spoiling name of LIC as well.
So many negative things I have with this HFL which can be written here but still just to highlight some of them.
1. No customer service number you have to call branch who never answer the call.
2. If you ask for LOD or outstanding Letter they will try to make you fool and say it will come after 25 to 30 days so you don't tranfer your existing Loan.
3.for forecloser they will ask you to go to Jogeshwari branch and big joke here is they will accept cheque which you got from another bank to do foreclosure however difference amount you have to pay as DD, no online facilities no cheque.
4.after doing all of you ask when you will receive your doc you won't get an answer, Statement which you will get "we will call you" but you will never receive call back.
5. if you want to reduce current interest rate being charged on your Home loan conversion fee could be anything and rate which you might geteis not according to the market rate going on.
6. They will charge you for document retrieval charges 2500+GST but you will not get doc before 1 month.
7. All the above pointer is not specific to one branch of LIC HFL , it's on every branch of LIC HFL.
8. I NEVER RECOMMEND ANY INDIVIDUAL TO GO WITH LICHFL. They will make your life miserable.
Never ever go with this institute thier agents also do false promises so be aware.
