★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place. Here God Krishna ( Madan Gopal) Prevails in this Temple. Every year Rathayatra festival held here with many enthusiasm, zeal and jubilation. Annavog(Food offering of cooked rice to God) is very delicious here.You can get this here by purchasing a coupon on previous day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple is made for Lord Krishna by Malla King Durjan Singh approx 400 years ago.It was made by laterite soil and bricks.
If you closely follow the walls of this temple, you will see various terracota arts and designs. It herits the true essence of arts and designs. When I saw first time, I was shocked to see the design as all the designers were perfect and followed the same lengths. We will have to believe that our ancestor were more knowledgeable than us.
Since it's a historical place, Archeological department will have to take care it properly in order to say the history accurately.
Even you will see a Tulsi Manch ( Holy basil planted in structure)
Listened that expensive Baluchuri Tant Saree got inspiration from Teracotta art to design the sarees properly.
Entry fee: none
Direction: have to cover many ingested places to reach there.
Parking: have no problem of parking the bike but you have to pay 10rs for four wheeler.
Prasad: Delicious Krishna Bhog is available but you have to purchase the coupon day before your eating day.
Direction: 1- 1.5km from Bishnupur station and 2.5km from busstand. Everywhere you will get toto to come here but one thing they charge extra for outsiders. So use your bargaining skills to get the toto ar correct price.
