can be said to be the top 10 gov clges in the city where study goes well to some extent compared to the others

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This college serves as NSOU study centre on Saturday and Sundays. One can reach out to professors from Calcutta and Jadavpur University who come here to take classes on weekends.
Canteen facilities on weekends partly open. So to wait and meet professors carry food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a student of this college. If you ask around, you might not get a good vibe about this college. However, from my personal experience, you will get every chance to flourish your education here. Teachers are very approachable and kind. Classes take place properly. It has well equipped lab and a stocked up library. You don't need much more from a college. During our time fees were also very moderate. I was a student of computer science (Hons.) which was little bit expensive but quality of education made it worth paying.
