The Metta Buddharam Temple in Bodh Gaya or the silver temple is a stunning piece of architecture built by the Thais. A huge white statue of Buddha adorns the silver pagoda at the back. An architectural marvel and beauty, shimmering in the sunlight, you can spot from far away!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple is situated at Gaya Bodhgaya road (river side)passing through Rajapur middle school.It is open on all days for visitors except Sunday and Wednesday.It is a beautifull temple of lord Buddha.It has some speciality and is different from other temples of Bodhgaya.in many ways.The whole structure is given a white colour theme.The temple is shining from white metallic colour and statue of Lord Buddha is shinning as white snow.
In all temples and statue of Lord Buddha at bodhgaya Golden mettalic colour is used prominently,but in this temple it is not so.This makes it different from rest of temples of Bodhgaya.
Further,life size statue of king Ashok is installed in East South corner of the temple.
This beautifull temple must be visited if you are going to Bodhgaya on a visit.
