M	Mahendra Jhawar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its very nice place to stay in Mandu due to its good location, excellent rooms with good view, warm and prompt service, humble staff behaviour and tasty food. We stayed there for two nights and throughly enjoyed our stay.
S	SS Gill on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MPTDC Malwa Resort is the higher end property of MPTDC at Mandu/ Mandav, the other being Malwa Retreat. The two are.not close so be certain where you are going. The resort is next to the lake which is dry most times of the year but provides a huge expanse of openess to guest. Trees around are home to variety of birds (sunbird, mynas, barbets, drongo, bublus) and the water body attracts kingfishers, darter, egret. The resort has nice large rooms wide sufficient facilities. A wheelchair approach is available. Very open, airy, with cooperative staff. Food is standard fare, sufficient, but don't expect too much. The resort tries to resemble the plan of Mandu. It lies on the route to Rani Rukmati Pavilion. Don't miss the numerous Mandu imli trees (bao bab trees) in the vicinity. A photograph of the tree and its fruit is posted with this review.
g	gaurav on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was perfect stay deep silence, clean environment, perfect rooms and room serviceðŸ‘Œbut there was no swimming pool as they dismantled pool 2 months earlier But thanks to other services of hotel ....lunch, dinner, breakfast all were very delicious Just one drawback ..POOL is not there

But overall cleanliness and maintenance needs to be really improved There were cobwebs in nooks and crannies of the room. Also a fresh layer of paint is needed. There were flocks of mosquitoes in the common areas like staircases and lobby, especially at sunset time.

Full value for money.Malwa Resort is maintained and operated by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department.Massive restoration/ renovation/ building activities were recently completed. It is located in the scenic surrounding next to Sagar Talab (lake). The rooms we stayed in were restored/ renovated/ built during the recent past. The room and bathroom were quite good and did not disappoint. Rooms have a sit-out from where there is a good view of Sagar Talab. Slightly disappointed with the low water level and weeds in Sagar Talab. We were told this was due to clandestine pumping/ theft of water for irrigation from talab by neighbouring. After the rains and monsoon season, it must present a stunning view. The of the resort is quite good. The dining hall, the reception and the lobby attached to the reception is spacious, airy and with plenty of natural light. This makes for an excellent ambience.The staff is courteous and nice to the visitors. About Food. Every item on the menu during our two-day stay was uniformly good and tasty.I liked Malwa Resort very much and would unhesitatingly recommend it to all the tourists planning a visit to Mandu
A	Ameya Inamdar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had booked a one night stay on 17th Feb 2022. Unfortunately when i reached there i saw there was a major renovation work going on which was a huge disappointment, generally when a family is travelling on vacation they would want the resort to be peaceful and not buzzing with workers and drilling, grinding noise all across the resort. With all the noise of grinding and drilling right outside the cottage, we neither could enjoy the outside area, nor we felt safe to let our 10 year daughter out of the cottage with so many people working there. The least you could have done is not let out those cottage where work was going on. Secondly, there were major maintenance issues in the room, apart from minor ones like the flush, the health faucet, remote not working, and the boiler pipe burst, hot boiling water sprayed all across the bathroom, I barely missed being scalded. Shouldn't the staff check all these things before giving room to guests, We lost crucial daylight waiting for the plumber to fix things. We really felt let down by your resort, only saving grace was the service staff was prompt and catered to all the issues but at the cost of our time.
