★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a amazing place.. The ticket counter fees is 40₹ after entering you will see a great stretch of good garden you can almost sleep here.. This is a great piece of history a must visit place for students and historians... If you have more money then take a tour guide you will then come to know about a lot of things...
If you are coming here for the first time I will suggest you to be here for 3-5 hours and consume every piece of history that is available there...
This place is very clean so don't eat inside the
Premises try to be a gentleman and please if you are a local then dont harras the tourist..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great historical place. Lot of archeological places to explore. Its really exciting to visit one of the 1st University of the World. The reamins of the building is really amazing. The site is well maintained and the park looks beautiful.
But beware of the useless guides. They will hardly explain anything acurate. But if you are lucky, you can actually get some real good guide (but thats just pure luck).
If you are interested in history, must visit this place atleast once.

Now it's a tourist spot under Bihar tourism. There is a ticket to enter which cost Rs 40 per person it closes at 4.30 p.m...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very much thrilled to visit the venue. Seen the mammoth brick buildings constructed by India's oldest dynasties for development of mankind before Centuries. Proud but at the same time ashamed about the destruction of valuable heritage and books by foreign invaders . Chinese pilgrims Xuanzang and Yijing visited 7th century and taken lot of Sanskrit scripts to China. It is one of the oldest world's residential University for Buddhist studies.

Nalanda university, which was knowledge university where 10000+ students from different continents, 2000+ professors, 108 subjects were taught in 5th century AD. At that time it was not easy to get admission in university & there was an entrance examination which students had to go through. Nalanda university was known to disseminate knowledge to entire globe right from its inception. Must visit place. Really loved the university.
