If there is one place in Delhi which no tourist can afford to miss is Lodhi Garden which is house to host of Lodhi-era Monuments, lush green gardens, lot of exercise instruments, neat and clean restrooms, walking tracks, National Bonsai Park and host of other attractions. National Bonsai Park: Is located within the Lodhi Gardens near Gate Number One, Ashoka Gate. It is also not very far from Gate number Two where Open Gym is located. Park is unique in the sense that it is focused on Bonsai, not to many such parks. It is well maintained but not very spacious. Look at nearby Bara Gumbad from Bonsai Park is awesome and heaven for photographers. Park is being well maintained by NDMC & Bonsai Association. Must visit and see yourself. Thank you for going through the review.

On entering the main gate of the Lodhi garden the entrance to the bonsai park is on the right side and is narrow. Hundreds of bonsai Indian trees are on display over a well-paved and sprawling section garden which is lush green and is blessed with a cover with a think bush and vegetation. bonsai plants are well labeled and plenty of information is displayed via large boards vividly painted with pictures of the trees. Since the park is vast and involves plenty of walking it is recommended to carry or plenty of water or an energy drink even in winter. There is also a children's play park adjacent to the park with modern play equipment. ♿ Accessibility Features: Yes=Ramp access. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Entrance. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Restroom/Toilet. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Seating. Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Parking.

Well this is the hidden beauty in Lodhi garden. The word Bonsai is a Japanese term which means “planted in a container”. This art form is derived from an ancient Chinese horticultural practice, part of which was then redeveloped under the influence of Japanese Zen Buddhism. This park has a variety of bonsais beautifully planted and displayed. Generally, this place is missed by most of the people but if you do want to visit this place, this park is near Ashoka gate of Lodhi Garden. It is a peaceful place and a must visit as the bonsais are placed in a clean way with their names.
