★ ★ ★ ★ ★ बूंदी।नवल सागर झील रियासतकालीन धरोहर है, जिसकी सुंदरता को देखने के लिए देशी-विदेशी सैलानी बूंदी आते हैं। इसके बावजूद झील की उपेक्षा खुलेआम की जा रही है। झील में बालचंदपाड़ा इलाके के दो बड़े नालों व कई नालियों का गंदा पानी लगातार डाला जा रहा है। अथाह मात्रा में गंदा पानी झील में डालने से उसकी सुंदरता खत्म हो रही है। झील से लगातार दुर्गंध उठ रही है। जिससे उसके पास रहना या किनारों पर बैठना मुश्किल सा हो गया है। शहर में विकास के नाम पर हालात बदतर नजर आ रहे हैं। इसे सुधारने के लिए नगर परिषद की ओर से कोई प्रयास नहीं किए जा रहे हैं। स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधि भी नवल सागर झील के मामले में आंखें बंद किए बैठे हैं।
सीवरेज से थी उम्मीद, नहीं मिले अच्छे परिणाम
बीते एक वर्ष से भी अधिक समय से शहर में सीवरेज लाइन बिछाने का कार्य चल रहा है। बालचंदपाड़ा में भी लाइनें डालने का काम किया, लेकिन यहां पर त्वरित रूप से कार्य नहीं किया गया। जबकि बालचंदपाड़ा इलाके में पर्यटक खूब आते हैं। ऐसे में इस इलाके में सीवरेज का कार्य त्वरित व गुणवत्तापूर्ण होना चाहिए था। इसके साथ ही झील में गिर रहे गंदे नालों को भी रोकना था।

Bundi. Nawal Sagar Lake is a princely heritage, to see the beauty of which foreigners come to Bundi. Despite this, the lake is being openly ignored. Dirty water of two big drains and several drains of Balchandpada area is being continuously poured into the lake. By pouring huge amounts of dirty water into the lake, its beauty is dying. Bad smell is coming from the lake. Which makes it difficult to stay close to him or sit on the edges. Things are looking worse in the name of development in the city. No efforts are being made by the city council to improve it. Local public representatives are also sitting with closed eyes on the Naval Sagar lake.
Expectation from sewerage, did not get good results
The work of laying sewerage lines has been going on in the city for more than one year. Laying of lines was also done at Balchandpada, but it was not expedited here. Whereas tourists visit Balchandpada area a lot. In such a situation, sewerage should have been quick and quality in this area. Along with this, the dirty drains falling in the lake were also to be stopped.
