You can say this is the spot , people actually recognise that they've reached the Humayun Tomb , and this gumbad is located near to Humayun's Tomb , this "Neela Gumbad" is at this crossroad. From this point you can visit two places , first is sunder nursery and the other one is off course is Humayun's Tomb. Both the places is worthwhile to visit with your Family & Friends. Thanks for reading ... Hope you will come and enjoy this place's good vibe.

Neela gumbad is outside the periphery of Humayun's tomb. Although there is way but the gate is closed. The area is under renovation and may take lot of time. In from of the tomb towards Humayun's yard, a big trench is here which is now has been planted.

Nila Gumbad is possibly the earliest Mughal era building in Delhi, even pre-dating Humayun’s Tomb. The architecture of Nila Gumbad – the tile pattern on the northern façade, the shape of the dome, and the polychromy of brick patterns – suggests that Nila Gumbad was one of the earliest buildings built during the Mughal reign, before Mughal architecture became influenced by local styles. It seems Miyan Fahim was later buried in the structure by Abdul Rahim Khan-i-Khana who was the son of Bairam Khan, a coutier in the royal courts of Mughal Emperor Akbar. The enclosure wall of the Humayun’s Tomb has internal arches facing the Humayun’s tomb, whereas the external façade is plain, except for the portion of the wall shared with the Nila Gumbad where there is an arcade on both sides of the wall.

Often ignored but even more beautiful. Falling into a bit of disrepair ..we saw plants growing out of the dome. It's at the back side of Humayun Tomb, in its own walled enclosure. Very peaceful

Magnificent blue domed architecture which is underrated to my opinion as it always gets subdued because of the popularity of Humayun's tomb. The Blue dome makes you gaze at it. The overcast sky with this Blue dome makes a perfect contrast.

Isa Khan's tomb also known as Neela Gumbad was built during his lifetime (ca 1547-48 AD). It is situated near the site of Humayun's Tomb complex . Garden of this tomb is considered the 1st Indian sunken garden attached to a tomb. This concept was later developed at Akbar’s Tomb and at the Taj Mahal. This octagonal tomb has distinct ornamentation in the form of canopies, glazed tiles and lattice screens, and a deep veranda surrounding it, which is supported by pillars. It stands to the south of the Bu Halima garden at the entrance of the complex

This place is probably missed coz it’s overshadowed by Humayun’s tomb but the beautiful blue dome(sadly peeling off) is beautiful 2min walk from main tomb inside the Humayun’s tomb complex. It’s safe to visit, there is a guard stationed at entrance and you can see the Hazarat Nizamuddin railway station from here. There is no separate ticket, it’s in the same garden complex and it’s best to visit in winters
