thought it was simpler to get the Mi A1 fixed
this evening went to the local Service shop outside our gated community in RamaGondanaHalli
was very pleased by the service from Anirudh
he said that a new Mi A1 battery would cost βΉ1,800, with service charges of βΉ300
the serviced mobile was ready in a couple of hours and was looking as good as new
met his boss Ashique to whose number i PayTMed the money, after throwing in a nice back cover with a matte finish for βΉ250
sweet folks from Kerala, who spoke good Hindi for an easy interface
Anirudh also texted nicely in English
all in all, a happy service experience

β β β β β This is a fraud store. The shopkeeper himself is a goon. This store is runned by goons. Gave phone for screen replacement, they took 2 weeks, changed all the parts of the phone. Other than the outer back part of the phone noting was same. Entire software and even hardware was changed. Upon checking the IMEI, we came to know it is all together a different phone. Upon denying the delivery of the phone, they called few more goons and started quarreling and fighting. We left and phone even after that they were compelling us to pay the amount. We have registered a compliant in Whitefield police station for the same.
Such stores should not be allowed to run.
