β β β β β Visiting CC1 is totally incomplete without having food at Orko'ss Restaurant. This Multicuisine Restaurant is located at the E block of CC1 and they have a separate Lounge Bar section as well. The best part about this place is they have a huge seating capacity and it's decorated beautifully. Looking at the current situation they are maintaining all the hygiene and safety measurements so that you can have a great time with your loved ones here. Recently I visited this place with some of my friends and tried the following items.
For starters we ordered Orkoss Special Tangdi Kebab, Fish Tikka, Shammi Kebabs, Pan Fried Chilli Fish and Bhutte Ka Kebabs. Orkoss Special Tangdi Kebab is highly recommended as it was perfectly grilled and had some melted cheese on it, tasted really good with the green chutney.
For Maincourse we had Naan, Kashmiri Pulao, Patiala Chicken, Cantonese Noodles and Chicken Tai Pai. The Patiala Chicken was totally Lip Smacking and tasted really good with the Naan, if you ever visit this place don't forget to try this combo.
Overall I had a great experience here. The food was good, the service was prompt and the staffs were courteous as well. Do visit here with your family if you are looking for a place in Sector one which serves quality food.

β β β β β The festive season is just a month away. Preparations and shopping are on full swing and if a kebab festival comes up in this time, the enjoyment would be in a complete package! Orko's Restaurant & Lounge Bar brings to you the Kebab-e-Bahar which would be available till 30th instant on dine-in, takeaways or deliveries. The special kebab menu offers 14 items of veg and non-veg kebabs, to choose from.

Location: 3rd Floor of E Block at City Centre 1, Salt Lake. Easy access from Bidhannagar and City Centre Metro.

Items we tried:
1. Jaal Ke Rani- Tiger Prawns marinated with garlic and ginger roasted over charcoal in tandoor (βΉ849)
2. Mahi Lifafa- Bhetki stuffed with spinach and cheese, served with salad and mint chutney (βΉ599)
3. Mutton Barra Kebab- Grilled Mutton ribs, marinated with herbs and spices roasted in charcoal (βΉ599) (recommended)
4. Kastoori Murgh Kebab- Chicken breasts seasoned with kastori methi, served with salad and mint chutney (βΉ549)
5. Peshawari Paneer Tikka- Cottage cheese marinated with rich Indian herbs and spices cooked in tandoor (βΉ449)
6. Moti Sheek Kebab- Minced paneer with American corn, flavoured with Indian herbs and spices cooked in Tandoor and served with mint chutney (βΉ379)

Menu: All these items are from their Kebab-e-Bahar festival special menu which is on till 30th September. Apart from this, you can also enjoy from the regular menu which has a large variety of North Indian, Continental, Chinese and Mughlai options. The recommended items are a mist try!

Ambience: A perfect one needed for a perfect appetite! Spacious interiors with a seating capacity of 100+ people and sufficient lighting make it more worthy. Separate areas for group gatherings are available. You may wish to sit in the restaurant or in the lounge bar, depending on your moods.

Duration of the festival : 10th sept to 30th Sept 2021 .
Coming to the menu , we had gorged upon :
Peshawari Paneer Tikka
Stuffed Cheese Corn Kebab
Mahi Lifafa
Jaal ke Rani
Kastoori Murgh Kebab
Mutton Barra Kebab
Coming to brief description of these sumptuous preparations :
Peshwari Paneer Tikka : Marinated in Indian green herbs, spices and curd, grilled to give it a smooth charred flavour.
Stuffed Cheese Corn Kebab : Sweet American corn mixed with cheese and other veggies rolled upon Barbeque sticks to give a perfect crunch outside and silky satin inside .
Mahi Lifafa : Your mouth will definitely not stop watering , tasting brilliance of Bhetki mixed with Indian herbs , coated within a foamy layer, bringing an exceptionally tempting aroma after getting grilled.
Jaal Ke Rani : Our mind stops counting time , when we just gorge upon Tiger Prawn and here these are well marinated with Indian spices and grilled , served on sizzler.
Kastoori Murg Kebab : Large chicken dices , marinated with malai and kasuri methi ,served with green chutney and salad.
Mutton Burra Kebab : This royal preparation is the showstopper , where once you give a bite on thin bones of mutton , it will slide delicately inside your mouth , ready to give your tongue a merry - go- round wala joyride .
This preparation is utterly delicious and need not much flattering adjective as well :P

Biriyani is not just a food, it's an emotion for bengali. Biriyani is one of the most favorite dishes all over kolkata and biriyani is such a dish which is loved by all age groups and when it comes to biriyani festival, it's like a festival of love for all. So, Orkos brings Daawat e Biriyani, a biriyani festival from 12th November to 5th December. They are going to serve total 7 types of biriyani , 4 types of non vegetarian biriyani and 3 vegetarian biriyani. The timings for this festival are 12pm to 11pm . So usually we try normal kolkata style chicken or mutton biriyani but they have introduced some unique biriyani . We also tried some mocktails
So, 4 types of Non Veg Biriyani are :
~ Awadhi Mutton Biriyani - The mutton biriyani is the must try dish in this festival because the flavoured rice with the soft and juicy mutton pieces mixed with aromatic flavour is just a heavenly feeling to taste this biriyani
~ Irani Fish Biriyani - This was quite a unique concept to add irani style bhetki fish to biriyani and which brings a different level of kick to the biriyani
~ Chicken Reshmi Biriyani - This biriyani is for kabab lovers as they prepare this biriyani with reshmi creamy kabab and top the biriyani with some fried onions.
~ Manglorean Murgh Biriyani - This is another must try dish and specially for them who love spicy food because the preparation is spicy with red chillis and with a South Indian click in it.
Now coming to veg biriyani, which I tried but as I am a non veg lover I focused on non veg though specially for vegetarian , veg biriyani was too good. They have 3 types
~ Hydrabadi Subz Biriyani
~ Lucknawi Subz Biriyani
~ Vilati Subz Biriyani
Basically it was a hydrabadi and lucknawi style biriyani cooked with different kinds of vegetables and it was a new thing but I would say if you are vegetarian, you should definitely try their vilati Subz biriyani because it is prepared with exortic vegetables and it is really a high protein biriyani and it would definitely a good choice. So come and enjoy their biriyani festival

β β β β β Orko's Restaurant & Lounge Bar is an amazing place for your bengali decor and cuisine craving...also an authentic bengali resturant which serves diversified bengali dishes...Apart from the Bengali fare, they have a few Chinese and other dishes too. The ambience here is beautifully decorated with beautiful various coloured lights with a very wide seating capacity... A perfect place for hangout with your friends and family. Now there's a good news to every bong who are obsessed with bangalee dishes that this Durga puja they're introducing bengali delicacies with Orko's pujo special menu where you can have 50+ buffet items and that will available from 11/10/21 to 15/10/21. Apart from the buffet you can enjoy their Ala carte special dishes..As we all know we can't visit pandals like last year So if you want to cherish the Durga puja vibe more this year then you must visit orko's this week for a cheerful and relaxed Durga Puja..

β β β β β Orko'ss a beautifully decorated eating joint with Amazing ambiance, courteous staffs and delicious food. Located at Saltlake city centre 1, E block; Orko's is a happy place to spend good time with friends and family.
For this Durga Puja, they had come up with an extravagant buffet of 50+ items at very minimal price. Apart from the buffet delicacies, one can easily indulge in the mouthwatering non-veg specialities they offer.
Scrumptious food, Alluring ambience and the Durga Puja vibe, everything will make you feel relaxed, stressfree and very much cheerful.

Orko's Restaurant and Lounge Bar has come up with a Pujo Special buffet at βΉ1199. You get a wide range of 45 dishes. This buffet will be provided from 11th October to 15th October,12 noon to 4.30 pm. One of the most happening place in the town located at CC1.
Coming to the ambience well its just awesome. It gives you a positive vibe with a relaxing atmosphere. Following the government protocols they are keeping a good sanitization section.
Now the food. There are a lot of items to try in these 45 menus. At first they give a complementary drink, Aam pora sorboth, which was really good. The dishes are one better than the other. You just cant distinguish between them. Finger licking good food. Since there theme is "Bangaliyana" you can have mostly all the dishes from bengali cuisine. Besides this the desert section is just awesome. Also you can have dishes from Ala Carte Menu where there is must recommendation which is lobster, mutton and prawns. But you have to avail it on a separate bill. The food quality here is premium and I myself liked Mutton Dak Bunglow and Betki Paturi.
