★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is very difficult or I can say next to impossible, to get admission in his hospital for emergency treatment unless who know someone in the their staff who has contacts with doctors or some politician or big shot. I dont think they have any arrangement for admission during emergencies. For non emergencies, you need to take OPD appointment which is also difficult to get, for a doctor who very hesitantly advises for admission for treatment or surgery.
But once you are fortunately admitted , after following their procedure then your patient is professionally handled by the best doctors in all fields that the city has to offer. But, as they are the best doctors, they always have 4 -5 assistant doctors around them when they are on a round of the ward and they have very little time to listen to us or explain in detail the treatment being given to our patient.
They have a customer care number and coordinators who look after the complaints of the patients and help resolve them. They have a TPA desk with a single staff member who helps for mediclaim cashless treatment. Perhaps felt, the staff should be more at the desk and it should be more motivated, helpful and customer friendly as they are handling family of patients who are in financial and mental stress and need some support to carry on with the process.
The nursing staff is experienced and good . I think maybe as everywhere else too, the ward boys or aayas look understaffed . That may be because they are not handled properly by their superiors or they really are understaffed. They never come on time. I think most of the times, their services are always required for attending patients on urgency. So the hospital needs to look into this matter seriously.
I think I should also add about the chilly central air-conditioning in the hospital, especially in ICUs and their waiting rooms.
Overall , the hospital experience was satisfactory if we compare it to the other hospitals which this city has to offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Post covid the management has become worse. No co-ordination between the doctors. They literally harass the patient's relative staying back at the hospital by asking 100 questions repeatedly. No politeness in the nurses like they used to be before. Half of the times they do not even inform the relative when the doctors come to visit the patient in the ICU. Lost my grandmother within 2 days of admission and had to wait for 5 hours to take the body back because they had to get a clarification on billing from some other department. A complete chaos I would say. Will never ever recommend this hospital to anyone in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my dad today for vaccination age 61. Took appointment for 3pm-4pm. Large crowd gathering. Rude staff. Worst experience please do not go there. There was long queue for waiting area, then another queue for billing, another queue for aadhar verification, another queue for vaccination. Its a hurdle and mess. Not managed properly. Waste of money. It would've been better if I would've taken my dad in government centres. We reached there at 2:45 and got vaccination at 4:47. Totally unbelievable. We trusted Hinduja hospital since our grandparent times. Totally lost faith. You can do it better. Crowded and no precautions in the queue. More over they didn't provide medicine or vaccination certificate even after asking them and paying money, which are given in government centres for free.

1.One of the best hospitals in Mumbai South area with specialization of all type of medical complications.
2.Diagnosis and Treatment is perfect, advises provided by specialist doctors are good.
3.Facilities are excellent, room's hygiene is maintained well.
4.Nurses and all staffs behaviour towards patient is excellent.
Negatives-
1.Long waiting for getting admission. We waited in emergency/casualty section for around 20+ hours for my father's emergency case. During this waiting time, patient's is exposed to multiple other cases (accidents, emergency) which increases overall stress of the personal condition.
2.Also, COVID test is mandatory which is important. But during the gap when sample is taken and resort comes, all emergency patients are in same room (partitioned by curtains that too many times are not properly put). This actually increases the chances of COVID infections as there could be a possible positive case which is only identified once reports are available. It's a huge risk.
3. Only 1 person is allowed in emergency ward and that too without any single chair. For us it was 20+ hours in standing and that impacts the health of person who is there with patient.
4. Monitoring equipments in emergency ward is not upto mark and many readings are with ? When informed a very casual response of ignoring the reading is provided.
