Hopeless service. The staff is terribly rude and uncouth.
We’ve been patronising your restaurant both here and in madras for the past several years.
Here’s how our visit transpired
- We reached the place at around 9:20pm and we were told that we had to order quickly and that was to be our last order. (Google said that the place closes at 10:30)
- When the soup was given to our table, the server asked us to eat up the soup quickly as the food was on its way and he didn’t want us to delay because they wanted to close up the restaurant.
- We were given left overs and the last bits of cut onions, when the same was told to the waiter, he said “how do you expect me to help customers that argue” and the waiter made a big deal about it and continued arguing about it endlessly.
- we googled the place and showed the staff that someone had left a review just yesterday complaining about the rude behaviour of the staff, and the waiter responded with “go you also put one review”

Standard fare is all we have tried so far, but everything has been pretty authentic and tasty. The filter coffee is awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful breakfast at this place. Palmgrove and Ballal has been a mainstay for South Indian breakfast meals for a long time. Great food, polite staff, and reliable quality of service every single time. Highly recommend after a night of heavy drinking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is nice. Has a very old timey vibe and the food is decent. Has ample parking space and is good for large or small groups. Service takes forever though, and staff is almost always overwhelmed. Otherwise a nice dining experience. Would recommend if you have plenty of time and are looking for a quiet place close to the city centre.

Ample parking space for your vehicle of any size... Parking lot was full but not crowded... Separate parking for two wheelers and four wheelers...
Restaurant is clean and spacious... Ample moving space between table sets... Seating is good and comfortable... Tables are stable and sturdy...
Food is good and served hot and fresh... Limited yet decent variety of veg foods... Overall, a pleasant experience...
