★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such irresponsible people at the office. Yesterday, I went for my passport appointment even when it was raining cats and dogs but couldn't find anyone in the office except for the guard. Also, there's no contact number available online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad experience. I have applied for fresh passport on 07/03/2019 as a central govt. employee but till today (25/05/2019) I have not received my passport. Whenever I check my application status it shows " Passport application is under review at Regional Passport Office."

This place is not equipped with anything in terms of getting your Passport done. They only check your documents and do basic scan and will then sent it across to main office in BKC (very lengthy process)- in short the time to process and get you your passport will take typically 45+ days in any case (new/renewal/Any changes) same thing will be done in no time if you choose only PSK (MALAD/THANE/LOWER PAREL/ANDHERI)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst experiences. Though the staff there is polite and helpful they are very slow.
Generally non tatkal people also get some update within a weeks time. My passport is not received where I have applied for the same 4 months and 11 days ago.
Called the passport helpline number. They asked me to contact the regional office as it was sitting there only.
The number didnt get through nor did the email id.
On twitter also, they reverted saying that you must wait.
Today went to the police station as recently after 4 months got an update that its reached there. However they said that there has been no passports shared.
Tired of this and the system as they exactly know how to take the hell out of someone.
Other post offices might be super fast compared to sion.
Please try that but not this one.
Really tired.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 counters for speed post ,functional till 2 pm ,but only one functional at a time . People stand in line and wait and return without getting the work done coz of only one counter functioning at a time . If counter functions till 2 pm ,how is lunch at 1 pm justified? Simply write speed post till 1 pm ,why make people wait unnecessarily .
Government office with indisciplined staff yet again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two counters (4&5) available for Speed Post, but at any given time only one is functional. All safety protocols and social distancing norms are being conveniently flouted. Infact being a government office, was expecting stringent adherence of rules, but nope !
The clerks are all pretty much self occupied, slow, and lethargic. Sending a small letter via speed post took me 1.5 hrs increasing my exposure ?! which could have been easily avoided if there would have 2 counters functional and quicker work !
Avoid going to this PO if u find another one in your vicinty.
P.S: one good thing..accessibilty to nearby xerox centres.
