β β β β β I visited this place by chance while shopping in Ambience. The place is a delight for days when you don't feel like eating anything. The fusion of multiple cuisines together is really set. I had mapo tofu, dahi kebab and bajra roti pizza. Mapo tofu was really good. Difficult to find in the price range elsewhere. However, pizza can be given a miss. The toppings of tomato and cheese were normal. I would definitely go back there to try out other dishes.

β β β β β Excellent vegetarian cuisine - a global twist to delightful INDIAN and International dishes. A must try - trust me, coming from a hardcore non-veg guy, this is a tribute indeed. Donβt miss their Jack bun, Khima Galouti to name a couple. Also try the Murugan Marry cocktail...

β β β β β Purple Greene is the newly opened restaurant in the Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj. It is located at the third floor of the beautiful mall. The restaurant is having very beautiful and impressive ambience with attractive entrance.
I visited it on weekdays and there was nice crowd in the restaurant. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant (even cheese they use is pure veg). It serves very innovative dishes like Chargrilled watermelon, wheel samosa, etc. That is pretty impressive.
Their drinks are wonderful in taste and texture. I loved their Murugan Marry the most. Besides, they serve very tasty Paan Blast, Cranberry juice and mango juice.
Their starters are also very yummy. Raw Banana Fingers and Yam Pate were those which I liked the most.
Cottage Cheese Steak and Kathal Biryani are definitely try-worthy.
They serve innovative desserts which you may never have tasted anywhere else. Scoop of Rock and Puran Poli are worth trying.
The staff there was so welcoming and polite. It was a very pleasant dinner experience at Purple Greene. Highly recommended restaurant.

β β β β β To get a good vegetarian meal in Delhi is a treat, but to see a separate menu card for jain food items was amazing.
Perfect taste, awesome ambience, well served staff to help us choosing the meal.

β β β β β Visited this newly opened place at Top Floor Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj (Food Court), It's a separate restaurant apart from Food court.
This is Complete Vegetarian Restaurant; a Great delight for vegetarians.
Here we had lots of Fusion dishes and great drinks.
In drinks we had Mocktails -
Murugan Marry, Cranberry & Mango Juice and Paan Blast,
Murugan Marry tops up my taste list.
In food we had-
Samosa Pinwheel, Polenta Sticks, Raw Banana Fingers.
The Samosa was so innovative and very yummy in taste.
Kathal Biryani was also something new to eat and Chettinad Mushroom with Rice was a great combo they served, which is full of spices and flavors.
In dessert we had-
Scoop of Rock which is made of Vanilla coated with white chocolate layer served with Indian dry fruits and sabudana Gravy, a totally new dessert. It was also nice to try.
The whole staff was very nice from manager till waiters.
Ambience was so soothing, very well designed Food and beverages menu card. They serve their all food in eco-friendly baked earthenwares.
A great place to visit.

β β β β β This place is one of the latest attractions at Ambience mall.
It's a 5/5 on creativity and overall 4.5/5.
When we think of vegetarian food in general only dal, paneer & normal indian dishes come to mind and that is what this restaurant is trying to change with globally influenced dishes giving you a whole new vegetarian experience.
The ambience is good, with yellowish lightning nd mirrors on pillars. I also loved the fact that the kitchen was clearly visible giving you a glimpse of all the action.
The way the dishes were served in earthy crockery made them look exotic while giving it simplicity.
Coming to the food we had-
Murugan marry- I never thought that guava juice could also be made this way with so good flavours. That tabasco, chillies combined with the black salt on rim of glass made me love it in first sip.
Yam pate- This had ulta tawa parantha coins(definitely much bigger than coins) with yam & gourd kebabs and naga chilli jam. This naga chilli jam was the main star of this dish sweet for a few miliseconds before the chilli kicks in.
Banana fingers- Raw banana fingers rubbed with rawa powder and fried. I actually didn't like this dish much, somehow we couldn't taste the banana in it and it was not at all appealing to my tastebuds.
Khub galauti kebab- This dish was the star dish for both of us. It was so soft that it was almost breaking while serving it. Melt in mouth and utterly yummy, must try.
Samosa pinwheel- It took a couple of seconds to actually understand what is this and how it's made, basically filling of samosa in strips of samosa dough. It was almost identical to your desi nukkad wale gupta/aggarwal k samose, very masaledar and combined with the green chutney was flavour bomb. This was the best starter after khumb galauti kebabs.
We also had chargrilled watermelon salad, which was too good that sweet flavour combined with sourness of vinegar was very good, another must try dish.
For mains we had, the bajra flatbread pizza, 5grain risotto(sabudana, jwar, ragi), malaysian curry and kathal biryani. The flat bread pizza was something new to me and I really loved it. The 5 grain risotto again a very new concept, it tasted very well with good amount of cheese. The malaysian curry was okaish, but what I really didn't like was the kathal biryani, the kathal pieces were not soft enough and the overall biryani was not that flavourful.
Desserts- We tried 3 desserts puran poli, scoop of rock & chocolate mousse. Although all 3 were excellent but for me puran poli with it's textures from soft dough to seddless dates to crunchy chikki this was amazingly done. And the other one was scoop of rock which literally was hard white chocolate along with sago toffee & foxnuts was very gooey and satisfying.
All in all a very new experience, will definitely be going again.
The staff was well mannered and had good knowledge about the food they were serving.

β β β β β If you are vegetarian and you are bored of standard dal and paneer, then this the place for you. Purple Greene is kind of a fine dining restaurant serving pure vegetarian food. The ambiance is calm and cozy. What's different about them is their amazing global cuisine. They serve innovative veg food with beautiful presentation. The dishes taste absolutely delicious and the portions are decent. You can also have some unique and refreshing drinks. The pricing is a bit expensive but still it's a place worth trying for it's fusion food.
