Very poor quality and very poorly maintained cinema hall...total waste of enthusiasm if wishing to spend some quality time with friends or family. The picture quality is very bad and sound is far below average.

At the base of the Behla, there were two movie halls for the common people, "Elora and Pushpri" which had been carrying on the tradition of the BehlaBut today, the two halls are almost extinct for not being able to keep up with the times and for the ineligible staffs

Bestest place I had ever seen.It is a pure Bengali movie threatre.Earlier, this theatre belonged to us,and this is true.I had many memories with this Cinemahall.Earlier,it was the attraction of Behala, but only for the stupid public, the hall slowly turned to bad. Before blaming anytime, they should blame themselves. My favourite, lovelycinemahall. Who are telling bad things about this place are stupid and idiots.A bunch of people who are in Kolkata.Stupidssssss.Now the hall is going to to be ruin.

It is closed now.I have seen five movies in this hall. The highest ticket value was rs.50 per person. This is an unbelievable price for today's generation.Though they use to bring only bengali movies,at rs.50 no one can get Ac in a cinema hall.

This cinema hall used to be good but now it has fallen in bad times like many other cinema halls of a bygone era. Viewers have moved to multiplexes where one gets not only better films but also better facilities. The cost naturally is higher but so is the standard. If Pushpasree does not upgrade soon the premises will make way for demolition to be converted to a block of flats or a mall in future.

Pushpasree is one of the oldest movie theatre of Behala area, located at Shilpara, near Sakherbajar. The current situation of the movie hall is although in a state of grim. Lack of maintenance has left the property in an unhonoured & deteriorating condition. Hopefully it will revive again someday, in future.
