This area Ayyappa Nagar is developing very fast and in that there is a small area known a Coconut garden.
This was belonging to the K C Reddy,( late,Ex CM of Karnataka).
It was bought by a group of young Engineers with the blessings of an elderly person. The group named VARS developed and sold the residential plots in 1995-96.
The recent development in the area has made the place for apartment dwelling.
This is the result of growth in Bangalore especially towards the ITPL area.
The apt owners of this coconut garden has formed a resident welfare association and are able to get Voter ID cards, street lights and roads to the main roads.
The association is very enthusiastic and do a lot for the residents.Recently they conducted an useful event such as Art of eating, with less cooking.
A very good society to look for.
