β β β β β The old Saifee Hospital was functioning since 1948, thereafter, the Saifee Hospital Trust decided to build a new hospital on the existing premises. Construction commenced in 2001 and the Hospital and was commissioned 4 June 2005 in the presence of the erstwhile Honorable Prime minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh. The hospital features a combination of classical Arabian (with domes and arches) and contemporary (with glass curtain facades) architectural styles.
It is a 250 bedded multi-specialty tertiary care hospital providing medical, surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic services. The specialties range from simple Day-care procedures to complex Cardiac surgery and acute care emergency medicine. There are 37 beds Critical Care Units, 4 beds High Dependency Unit for critical patients, 9 State of the art Operating Theatre suites with International Infection Control Protocols. The hospital also features the first LASIK suite (for advanced laser eye surgery) to be established in India.[4][5] A recent addition is a highly advanced Robotic Surgical System to facilitate the surgeon in performing complex surgery using a minimally invasive approach.
In the aftermath of the 2011 Mumbai bombings, Saifee hospital provided free treatment to victims and affected people of the bomb blast

β β β β β Saifee hospital is an iconic name in Charni road. Located bang opposite to Charni rd East railways station, this hospital offers fascinating views of Girgaon chowpatty. While the panel of Doctors and high spoken words spoken by classified people might look provocative, the reality is not worth experiencing.
My mother was admitted here from 14th - 23rd Feb 19. The doctor in-charge and his team were fairly ok, but the rest of the teams didn't have much of a clue of their job responsibilities. Working in a senstive environment people should display the highest level of commitment and be on their toes, as the money charged isn't too less anyways.
Co-ordination between internal teams doesn't seem to exist at all.
Example, you end up discussing the menu for the patient with the Dietician for hours and what comes for meals, is way too different.
Nurse station is nothing more than an empty spot and the call alarm in the room to call for help seems to be a mere fancy gadget.
Every time you need some help, you hit the bell and wait till the end of time for someone to visit. You end up running to the nurse station and find no one's there. Such a poor level of service is non tolerable. Had I experienced it just a few times during our time there, i wouldn't have bothered to elaborate it so much. But, this was a daily affair for us throughout the 10 days we stayed there.
Feedback taken by several authorities who come to visit the patient, surely go to deaf ears. I might have complained every single day for the first 7-8 days but there was absolutely 0 improvement as I am not only sure but certain that, receiving feedback was nothing more than a mundane job and it went to all deaf and unprofessional ears. For the price you pay, you cannot expect even the service of a government hospital.
The management of this hospital needs to invest a bit more of staffing rather than simply making this into a terrible money making business. I am highly surprised to witness this form of a behaviour by a reputable institute which clearly translates and tell me that they do not care about patients need but just the money. If so, than please take away the tag of being a so called Hospital and change your name of something that defines your business model, aka Financial services.

β β β β β One of the most beautiful and state of art Hospital situated in a prime location. It is just in the East of the Charni Road Railway Station. Doctors are well qualified, well educated and well experienced. This Hospital looks like a 5 star hotel. Services also like 5 star hotel. They will greet you once you will reach there. Hospitals staffs are very much cooperative.

β β β β β Serves the most pathetic food. They don't take care of patients diet. The most pathetic service and experience. Even inspite of taking first class room we had a very bad experience. Never thought saifee hospital will be like this. Not at all worth it.

β β β β β It is situated near Charni Raod Railway station of western Railway. Good facility and treatment, some costlier but as per treatment is is negligible, very hygienic, neat and clean. Mainten properly, drinking water and sanitization facility available, Good staff and their behaviours, much appreciated, covid guidelines followed properly, somehow parking of vehicle May be difficult which need to improve. All over good experience.

All doctors are well qualified and gives the best suggestion and best treatment possible. Latest technology available for operation or any other treatments required. System is also well done. Precautions regarding COVID 19 is also well taken care of. COVID test also done. Timings and facilities are also upto date. Had the best experience and best treatment
