★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple by the side of Lal Bandh in Bishnupur used to be visited by Holy Mother Sarada Devi while coming from or returning back to Joyrambati via Bishnupur. After 1905 she used to made her journey through Bishnupur railway line to go to Calcutta. As no one was known to her, while coming in Bishnupur she usually take rest after getting down from train by the side of this Temple, having their food cooking for lunch in the nearby Sarai. Once she recalled Sri Ramakrishna's sayings that "Bishnupur is a hidden Vrindavan", Sarada you must see. when Mother told that I am a girl how to see it, nevertheless Thakur Sri Ramakrishna told her, 'no you must see it'.

There is a story reveling that once Thakur Ramkrishna Paramhangsha Dev had worshipped Devi Sarbamangala here & he had taken samadhi under beltala. This temple is situated at the bank of lalbandh. Maa Sarada had visited this temple many times. Ramananda college & Bishnupur TV centre is nearby this temple
