★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place. It is situated in Village Malgaon. Railway station have facilities like General Waiting room and special room for handicapped people's. Wheelchair accessible entrance here. General waiting room have toilet facilities. Besides this waiting room. There are Gents and Ladies toilet which are locked when I visited on 1st December 2021. Sawantwadi city ST depot is around 8.4 km(20min). Vengurla ST depot is around 20km(35min). There are ST buses from railway station at certain times to travel to Sawantwadi ST Depot, Vengurla ST depot, Malewad village. Railway station contains 4 food stalls at platform no 1. Roof sheds are at every 100 meters to cover from rainy weather on Platform no 1 and 3. There is no roof tops on Platform no 2. Foot over bridge connects all 3 platform. Foot over bridge is also not contain roof tops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sawantwadi station is good for people travelling by train bcoz most of the trains on route to bombay or manglore halt at this station. Well maintained. There are shops if you want to take some snacks on journey or even hotels if you want to have somthing there itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice railway station of Konkan railway. Having basic facilities. There are around 3 platforms, of which only platform number 1 is with shelter, others are open. Station area is really good to see around. There are Rickshaw and ST bus stop available outside station, if you require further transportation. Some food stalls are also available on platform no. 1, available with Konkani foods and beverages.
Station can be more modify in future.
