The ghat is located just below the Nistarini Kali Mandir at Sheoraphuli. The ghat is about 250 meters from the Sheoraphuli railway station. There is adequate facilities to take a holy bath in the Ganges.

Beutiful place. This jetty is used for connecting Barrackpore and Seoraphuli. Large boats are used for crossing the river. From the ghat the Seoraphuli station is 2 minutes walk. On the Barrackpore side there are auto service upto Barrackpore station and 81 bus service upto Barasat bus stand. Fare of crossing is rs. 5. Seoraphuli Bazaar is adjacent to the ghat.

Very Important Ferryghat but very badly maintained. Charges Rs.4 now to cross to Barrackpore Dui Poisar Ghat from 5am to 11pm. After that Rs.10 for special ferry even for 1 person till 1am midnight.

Use this ghat for to and fro ferry service from Barrackpore to Sheiraphuli since my childhood days, 40 years back. This is also called 2 poisar ghat (2.Paisa ferry ghat) based on the then fare when the ghat was first started. Have seen lot of changes since then. Now there is floating jetty on both ends, which though small, is more or less sufficient. Present fare is only Rs.6.00 per head and there are multiple ride options available for daily commuters also. Thousands of passengers use this ghat everyday.
