But now with big boats high capacity and safety is maintained. Easiest way to get to and from Uttarpara and Ariadaha. You also get auto to go to rathtala kamarhati which joins barrackpore trunk road from Ariadaha ferry ghat. Convenience and affordability to one and all.

This is very usefull ferry ghat to cross the river Ganges to catch the Howrah bound train and Grant Trank Road. Any one may use the ferry also to go to the city Kolkata, Belur Math using water way. Ariadaha is a famous old ferry service which is now concerted from manual boat service to steamer services. Auto rikshaw also available from here to Rath-tala, B. T. Road. This path of ferry service is wheel chair accessible.
