★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Along the bank of Ganges, this is a beautiful place to spend time looking at the sky changing its colours during the sunset. There are more places to sit near the launch ghat. Since it is not very crowded so you can take a ferry from here to different stops like shovabazar, ahiritola, golabari and Howrah. It is one of the most inexpensive mode of transportation and also one of the fastest for this route. You also enjoy the cool breeze during the evening.

The experience of riding a launch from bagbazar to Howrah was amazing at any time. The view of the river Ganga is beautiful. Me and my friend all time favorite place is this. There just take a tea and a special ghoti garam and in summer take kulfi malai and enjoy the view. ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This ferry terminal is situated on a very narrow Street, surrounding areas are little dirty. The ferry in use is also an old one. Kolkata needs upgradation in its transport system including the waterways. there is no information available on the site about ferries, their timings and ticket prices. Although if you travel from this bagbazar ferry terminal to Howrah station ferry terminal you will surely enjoy the ride, paying just 7 rupees.

The place is famous for hanging out. The Bagbazar station of the Chakra Railway? is located near this ghat. Although not a park, the place is very beautiful and the place is on the banks of the Ganges, so you will feel very good sitting here. You will find many loving couples who spend time sitting here. You will find many Bengali snacks shops such as tea?, phuchka, jhalmuri, alukabali etc.⛴ ⛴ ⛴

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful atmosphere. Old calcutta feel. Scenic. Windy place. Serene waters of the hooghly flowing past. Antics of local boys. Not for the clean freaks. Good for couples. Good connectivity with buses and train station. Train every 45 mins. 5 mins walk from shyambazar metro station. Ferry services can be availed as well at minimum cost of rupees 6 or 7.
