★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is temple of God shiva ,Near Bagbazar circular railway station and beside Bagbazar ferry ghat , and it is a nice place to spend time in evening while watching evening worship of god and with a nice view of Ganga

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Facebook friend has posted a few photographs of this stone temple. It has a very unique style and is rare in this part of India. Unfortunately, nothing much is known about its history or the background. I had seen it a few yeas back and it intrigued me. For there were no idols, no daily offerings, no priest and no devotees, as if the presiding deity has gone on a holiday. Doors too are locked and it seems when the presiding deity returns, the doors will open and we will know the story. Meanwhile, if a kind soul can throw some light on this temple, it shall be very much appreciated.
