Take Bagbazar ghat to Howrah boat ride during the sunsets and experience the best view and moments. This ghat is itself so peaceful which is located near Kumartuli, the perfect way to spend the evening time.

Peace, tranquility and the evening breeze refreshes your mind. Besides the ferry service, Bagbazar rail station is nearby with frequent trains to Dumdum and Majherhat.

It's a beautiful place beside Kumartuli. One of the most popular ghats in Kolkata. This place is so serene. One can enjoy a ferry ride from bagbazar to howrah ghat. Otherwise just have a cup of tea, sit beside the river ganges and start exploring the quintessential view of sunset. It will definitely soothe your soul. Refreshing moment for sure. Spend some quality time with near and dear ones. A must visit place for the travellers and tourists.

This is a beautiful ghat beside kumortuli. You can enjoy a very beautiful sunset from here. In the morning and everything time the sky, environment became extremely beautiful. This is a complete smell of North Kolkata. From bagbazar ferry ghat you'll get a ferry towards howrah. The journey is amazing.

The place is very nice. But people just don't understand that plastic waste is a real issue. Went out with my team and cleaned the ghat took us less than 2 hours but the good news is we collected 10 bags of garbage ranging from blades knives to tshirt and pants. And plastic in abundance. Really a good experience

Get off at Baghbazar More, walk towards the railway line and you'll see a beautiful, tranquil ghat right in the heart of the city. Also known as the Mayer Ghat, this is one of the few ghats in the city that is clean and decently maintained. Those of you who take the ferry from the area would know but for those who don't, make sure you stop by for the immensely popular and beautiful Ganga Aarti that takes place soon after sunset. This ancient ghat is where Sarada Ma spent her final days. Walk around the ghat and you'll spot a couple of platforms made for the evening aarti. There's enough place to sit and enjoy some 'me' time and take in the beauty of the peaceful surroundings. Watch out for the creative graffiti art on the walls as well as the beautiful Radha-Krishna temple. Take a ferry ride to Howrah or Belur for a surreal experience. Pro-Tip Make sure you reach before sunset. The view is breathtaking to say the least.

One of the most popular ghats in Kolkata. This place is so serene. There is steamer jetty next to Baghbazar Ghat, ghat in Bengali is a paved staircase. Steamers carry passengers to the opposite bank of the river, as also the office localities around B.B.D. Bagh, Esplanade and Howrah. The old ghat is used by bathers, people collecting Ganges water for religious ceremonies, for performance of religious ceremonies, and for such mundane tasks as unloading country boats carrying various materials.
