★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you ever visit kolkata and not Bagbazar then my friend you're not enjoying it to the fullest,be it a normal weekday or any occasion like Durgapujo or shivratri.. It's not about only the cold wind,and the waves..You will miss a beautiful sunset,the college students singing and busking with their guitar,the couples enjoying an afternoon,that lebu cha and 'ghatigorom'...It's about everything..you can visit there,'mayer ghat' 'chanpatala ghat..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently visited for the Bishorjon ceremony of "Maa Annapurna".... As in the name it is situation at Baghbazar ghat... Usually this place remains vacant during regular days but not on devotional festivals' last days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a devine place. Maa Ganga is very peaceful and calm here. You can prey or sit beside Maa Ganga for some time. Here you'll find many Mandir of lord Shiva, Maa Sharba Mangala, etc.

Located beside Bagbazar Circular Railway Station this ghat was used by Sri sri Saroda maa and so was named after her the ambience of this ghat is totally different from all the other ghats located in the city and your mind will calm down staying here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful. Mostly clean. Nice getaway. Although a bit awkward to visit alone because couples swarm the area and make you feel uncomfortable but i guess that's single life right. Even elder couples enjoy the view during sunset which is heartwarming. Nice short getaway for gazing upon ganga. No disturbance of food sellers or anything. Not too dirty but not too clean either. Decent overall.
