★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good ferry service. Hardly take 7 minutes to cross the river. Fair is normally 8 rupees per person. At night the ferry service continues till 10:45 PM.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ferry Ghat at Konnagar is good. This place ia nearby the G T road. It is situated at a walking distance of 2 mins from F T road Konnagar Bata stoppage. You can cross the river and go to Panaghat Ferry stoppage. The fare for an individual is currently Rs.8.00 You can also take a bicycle or a motorbike to the Ferry. You would need to pay extra for the vehicle. Te crowd is decent. You enjoy the Ganga river breeze in the Ferry. You can reach out to the place from Konnagar railway station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very important ferry ghat which connects sodpur (the east bank of hoogly river) and konnagar (the west bank). Thought the greatest bridge service is bally dakhinewsar bridge and it is far away from the ferry ghat so ferry is the only way if communication in between two towns.
The frequency of the service is 15 minutes. It took 5 minutes to cross the river. Safety jackets provides here.
