★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are the most irresponsible showroom I have come across until now. Our car was given to them for a regular service on 19th November and we received a call on 20th saying the car got damaged while being taken in to the lift. On arriving at the showroom we were told none of their CCTV cameras work and their lift is faulty. On being questioned about this negligence, we were simply told that cameras and lift not working is their internal matter and none of our concern. For almost a month we've been trying to convince them to get our car inspected by an external agency to understand the extent of internal damage, but the showroom is unwilling to bear the expenses of this inspection. Further, they had the audacity to suggest that accidents can happen even to a new car, so if we meet with an accident after their repair without proper inspection, we should consider it our misfortune and not make a big deal out of it.
I am hoping this unacceptable customer service is exclusive only to the Vizag showroom and not all the SKODA showrooms across India. They have to be incessantly pursued for a response and we are slowly coming to understand that SKODA is probably not meant for a normal middle class family like us. It is best avoided if you cannot afford to pay for damages the showroom will casually cause to your car when it's in their custody.
