★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the most dysfunctional SIB branches I have ever come across. Even the ambiance of the bank is unpleasant. Customers coming from the blazing heat outside are subjected to a dry and hot atmosphere inside the bank. What is the purpose of having air-conditioners ? Are they installed as showpieces? Customer service at this branch is also very poor. There is no order or decorum. When one customer is being attended to 3 others come in, and the bank employee starts attending to them instead of asking them to wait for their turn. The SIB Kothanur Branch has an ATM counter adjacent to it but it's almost always out of Cash. 4 out of the 5 times I have been there to withdraw cash from the ATM machine I was greeted by the "Out of Cash" board hanged at the door. SIB is supposed to be one of the best Banks in the country but sadly the Kothanur Branch is ruining the babks reputation.
