Doctor, nurse, support staff...each member of Specialist Hospital is dedicated to the work.
Special thanks and gratitude for Dr. R. Prashanth who treated my mother and did knee replacement surgery. He is very humble, knowledgeable, caring and a perfectionist.
Right from admission to discharge, the entire process was very smooth.

home care services needs to be improved a lot
3 star only because their polite denial of services
No proper timing maintained
No professional behaviour
Availability will be as per their shift 8am, after or before 2pm , before or after 8pm. All depends on their duty and leaves
Especially infusion which is supposed to be taken with minimum 30-60 minutes. They will complete it in 10minutes.
No use of reporting to anyone. Better check outside home services if any . Definitely don’t expect same care from hospital even though they are charging 650 per visit
Medicine you need to buy and pay as and when needed even if it is infusion

Not a new customer I am so compared to earlier experiences I can say that the management has very well taken care of minute details to make the lives of patients much easy. Surprised to see the insurance settlement and discharge process which happened super fast in a span of mere 3 hrs and that too on a Sunday of a curfew week. Nurses are very serious and proactive of their work be it the day shift or night shift team. Overall very happy with the care SPECIALIST have given us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From personal experience, it is a very clean and hygienic place. All the protocols of the hospital are followed by all the staff(as far as I saw). That needs recognition. The doctors are young but very knowledgeable. They patiently explain every little doubt that we have. Clean cafeteria and good food is available. Food for patients comes on time and is well packed and well planned. The nurses and other staff are very friendly and caring. Though the charges are high compared to other hospitals, the treatment is beyond satisfaction.
Things that can be improved:
1. I prefer the stairs compared to lift but some parts of the stairs are locked for long periods for unknown reasons.
2. Because of lift issues, a patient was made to wait on the wheelchair in the ICU for more than 2 hrs. It would have been better if a ramp was present. In the end, patient came to the room through the lift from the OT complex. This could have been thought of in the beginning itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner went to specialist hospital for a circumcision and from the get go, the service was excellent. Dr. Nityanand from urology is professional, efficient and reassuring. The nurses are warm, proficient and immediately available for any support. The space is clean and well-maintained. Happily, the food is healthy and tasty, and offered regularly. The support staff, patient coordinator and insurance and billing staff were all friendly and efficient. The surgery happened exactly as planned, on time and with care. Highly recommend specialist hospital for people requiring health care in Bangalore.
