We were supposed to move in room 105 next month 1st week. We payed token advance.
I personally went and saw the room by myself and confirmed.
The owner was very polite and kind enough to reduce little when I negotiated. We finally fixed and payed token advance.
He asked for adhar and we send adhar details and soon after that he texted both of us asking ARE YOU MUSLIM?
I called him and he said they are not ready to give us room,this decision is taken by the society and will return back the amount.
I asked whats the reason and they said they dont give room to muslims.
He asked my husband whether both of us are muslims?
I was so heartbroken hearing this not because we didnt get the room, But because i felt so sad and horrible thinking how the world has become.
Its his wish whom to give or not give, its his property. But the reason.. he could have at least cooked up some reason saying the room is not available. But he still chose to say it on our face that our religion is the reason why they cant give us the room.
This review is not to pull anyone down. But i want people to know this is what’s happening around us.
I still cant believe people have this type of mentality in this era.
Never judge people based on their nationality, religion, race, gender, skin colour or look. Humans are all the same.
Why cant we all love each other and be nice to each other as long as we are alive?!
After all we are all humans.
Who taught us to be like this?
Cant believe and it hurts. Hurts sooo soooo bad.
Its haunting me.
