★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible customer service. They will cut the call after exactly 9 mins. To reach an executive it self you will have to go through a lot of verifications. In between they will waste all your time by playing there ads and other tunes. Altogether in 9 mins you won't get even 1 minute to talk. if you are calling them to cancel any sevice they will cut the call in between. The worst part is that this bank has only very few branches ( only 3 in a city like Bangalore). So going to the "NEAREST BRANCH" is a pain in its own way. Nerver make the mistake I made by choosing this bank.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wasted an hour here. Work not done. Needed to close a personal loan, today was the last day as per form. Was denied saying call customer care, get a new quote and come back. Yesterday hdfc took just 5 mins to close my loan (dd and online), i was not even asked for any form. Standard chartered really needs to up its game.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most unhelpful and uncouth behaviour from the branch even after I telling I was an ex- employee. For reaching late @3.30pm, which is the usual working hrs. They have not changed it in Google.
I wanted to close my current account, As there was a block on my debits, which they had placed without any intimation to me.
I wanted to submit an account closure letter, which they declined to accept. The block in the account was not my fault.
This type of behavior is uncalled for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor service. Waited more than 30 mins for an account opening. Staff is non cooperative, receptionist is weird, gives preference to people who came after me. Pretty bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never open an account with this bank..if you do then you are in for a world of pain! This is one of the worst banks. The service is horrible. I have been trying to close my account for past 3 years and the bank has kept my account open despite all my efforts. They are charging me for no reason and it is impossible to even get a response from the bank! Big fraud!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dealt with Siddarth to make an NRE account. Horrible customer service and follow up. Took all my documents and information but not providing updates or responding to any queries. Please stay away from Siddarth when dealing with any matter at this bank, let alone opening an account.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Standard Chartered MG road branch, I had a very important query and request an employee named Shreelakshmi assisted me immediately and explained in details what needs to be done. The request would take 2 days to be completed, I received it quicker than the given time with the charges waived off. Really Appreciate the assistance Shreelakshmi........ Hats off, Merry Christmas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is reference to the LOK ADALAT discussion we had with your (SC) recovery manager Suresh in CIVIL COURT on 12th March 2022.
The Discussion completed with a resolution between Suresh and BABU
The real concern is we haven't received any update from the bank (Suresh) or SC branch Manager, MG Road Bangalore.
Expecting a reply with dates and the recoverey decision from the SC bank.
Thanks hope you understand our position and provide an update soon.
