★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have given negative rating if it was possible. Zomato has stooped down to disgusting levels of customer support and service.
I ordered multiple times, out of which there were quality issues a few times and I raised them. They always assure that a backend quality team will check and revert.
For issues as old as Oct, 2017, I never received an email so I started questioning them on the timeline in Dec, screenshots attached. There is no set timeline, 3-5 month old issues raised are pending resolution and now they have blocked my account to avoid resolving the issues and taking corrective action.
Also, thrice for the issues I contacted the restaurant directly and they resolved the issue immediately on a personal level. The intermediary function of Zomato thus being nullified. They only care about commission from your order, beyond that they are least concerned with customer service.
I doubt they even have a team working on quality issues. When I checked online a lot of other customers are facing the same scenario where they are assured an email resolution, which never takes place.
I suggest you to always directly order from restaurant or rather use swiggy/other competitors.
