★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean station.there's escalators for all passengers.you can buy food drinking water or soft drinks from IRCTC counter.5 minutes walking distance from station to Shiva temple.you don't need to hire a toto or any other vehicles.one bad thing is that Pandas,they keep disturbing you,they nag you.they'll follow you from the time you step down on platform willingly.so please avoid them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the famous places in west bengal, Taraknath temple is situated here. It's situated on the Howrah - Goghat line (deemed to be extended to bishnupur). Trains to howrah are available in a average gap of 45 mins. Buses to various places are available just outside the bus stand. The station premises is very neat and clean and also vwry well maintained.
