★ ★ ★ ★ ★ South Mumbai has a new fine dine rooftop restaurant, to chill and unwind. Cool Breeze, Dine under the Stars, Nice Music, Beautiful Ambience, Pool-side and Breathtaking Views of the Mumbai Skyline and Queen's Necklace, believe you me it can't get better than this. The Allamanda Terrace opens doors to all, pre booking is recommended. And since it is on the terrace, currently it's open only for dinner. Located on the 6th floor of Marine Plaza Hotel, the Allamanda Terrace serves a 3 course unlimited set menu of Indian food with decent options for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. You have a live counter as well so one can catch the chefs live in action. The price for the set menu is set at INR 1500 + taxes.
Talking about what we tried here - we started with a couple of mocktails, special for the day was Melon Cooler which is a watermelon based drink blended with coconut milk. The other one was Papaya Cooler - fresh fruit with sweet - sour mix. The drinks were quite refreshing. Moving to starters, we tried Pesto Paneer Tikka, Sarson Broccoli, Bharwan Kumbh and Soya Subz Nawabi Seekh. All appetizers grilled to perfection. My personal favorite amongst these was Soya Subz Nawabi Seekh and Bharwan Kumbh. Seekh Kebab was not very dry and the smokey taste of mushrooms was the key here.
Moving to the mains, we called for Dal Makhani, Khade Masale Ka Paneer and Kasuri Methi Miloni Tarkari. Creamy Dal Makhani and Paneer Subzi were top notch and the dark house was veggies flavoured with dried fenugreek in Spinach base and some cream. We had this with Ajwaini Laccha Paratha and Garlic Naan. Scrumptious meal! We ended our meal with a bit of hot Gulab Jamun and cool Rasmalai.
Must say, the staff was courteous and helpful and they ensured we had a good evening. All in all, a must visit purely from an experience point of view. The Allamanda Terrace is a perfect recommendation for all those looking for options to celebrate special occasions with either family or friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Allamanda Terrace, a rooftop restaurant in The Marine Plaza is absolutely beautiful! It is located on the top floor of the hotel and is an alfresco dining restaurant by the pool.
Serving North Indian food, it is slightly expensive but the food is great. We tried the following -
Sarson broccoli - Well cooked and marinated broccoli
Beetroot shammi - Such a nice tikki, with a good centre filling
Stuffed mushrooms - Really delicious stuffed mushrooms
Naan with paneer shahi and dal makhani - Dal makhani was the only disappointment of the evening, the other dishes were all great.
Rasmalai, gajar halwa - Such delicious mithai, perfect way to end the meal!
Absolutely loved the experience.

And the view… heavenly.
A bit pricy though check your budget first.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This terrace restaurant is a lovely rooftop restaurant at Hotel Marine Plaza which is a pool side restaurant and serves North Indian and Mughlai cuisine.
It's a perfect spot for a date night or a celebration.
They have a set menu and serve appetizers at the table.
We started off with some chilled virgin mary, papad and salad.
They served 4 kinds of Vegetarian kebabs since we are Vegetarian. (they serve non vegetarian too)
Achari paneer tikka, corn seekh, tandoori aloo and veg fried kebabs.
We loved the corn seekhs most. They were cooked perfectly and really delicious.
For mains we had dal makhani, tadka dal, rice, assorted breads, paneer makhani and mixed vegetables.
The dal makhani was delicious.
For dessert they had moong dal halwa and phirni.
Both were good.
Overall a good place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited here with my friend, during this festive season of Diwali. We visited here for dinner, trust me Allamanda Terrace vibes during evening time is mind blowing.
I love the atmosphere and vibes offered at here, the marine drive view from terrace is brilliant. Moving towards food, we ordered quite a few items from kebabs section like Pesto Paneer Tikka.
Then in mains we ordered Paneer Kurchan and Subhz Pulao with assorted indian breads. Rasmalai, Gulab Jamun and Gajar Ka Halwa was tasting like heaven, we live the texture and taste of them. I'm definitely recommending you guys to visit here with you partners and make your evening more special

1-Sea View was awesome.
2-Dinner was perfect.

Which would surely be a treat to your taste buds!
Do visit with your family and loved ones.
Terrace restaurant are very few in town side this is one of them and best.
They serve best food and drinks ☺️.
Non Veg & Veg Starters are best.
Do visit at night time for ?️ Candle light Experience ☺️

The flavour of non veg and veg dishes was just divine.
Even the ambience is really good especially the view from the terrace seeing the sea, and the staff is very friendly, a perfect place for any age group.
