Asian box has been a go-to place in koregaon park for many and for much time and they have opened up in baner too a long while back now but this branch has a bar which is pretty amazing . Its kind of a hippie place with an open air seating as well as air conditioned seating , i loved the ambiance and specially the efforts put by owners in making of the restaurant. The owners are Singaporeans , so you can imagine the authenticity they bring to their place . Lets come to the real deal - FOOD So we went for a Sunday brunch where they had a set menu comprising of soup , salad , starters , main course and dessert. For the soup i had hot & sour (chicken) which had nice consistency and everything tasty! Huge variety in starters from - Aloo tikki sliders, crispy corn salt pepper, Pav bhaji bruschetta , spicy spinach dumplings , Chicken gyoza , crispy chicken lollipop , banana leaf fish and crispy prawn wantons! All of this was amazing , the standout dishes were banana leaf fish and crispy corn salt and pepper , both made me go drool like anything. The fish wrapped in banana leaf made it to contain the flavours , hence making it so good! Crispy corns- never had such corns in my life , they were mixed up in some amazing sauces and veggies that i couldn't figure out but it was damn good! The main course was pretty decent as well , didn't spike much excitement in me though but i loved the sambal prawns . In the dessert , i had apple crumble tarts which was perfectly cooked and its hard to maintain the consistency in tarts which was near to perfection here . PS- They serve one of the best khow sueys in the city and its worth the try . Also the orange basil mojito is a must to have here !

I visited place called Asian Box in Baner, when it comes to baner there are many restaurant with good food but this place is different when it comes to ambiance and food, Place is Situated at Prime location of baner, I visited with my friends for Sunday Brunch. When it comes to food, I have tried following Dishes - SOUP *Hot & Sour Soup(Chicken) - Soup before lunch is best and Hot and Sour is mine favourite once and this place have prepared it so well, chicken pieces were are fresh and taste was too good. SALAD *Indonesian Gado Gado - In breakfast I always prefer good and health food and Salad is mine fist preference and I got that in menu. Taste was good all the sauces were used in proper proportion STARTERS VEG *Aloo Tikki Sliders - It was North Indian speciality are mashed potato cakes with herb and Indian spices, they have presented these cute little nuggets in the form of sliders with a nice slather of coriander chutney and tangy tamarind chutney and enjoy all the praises. *Crispy Corn Salt Pepper - Corn were so soft and tasted too good, it was not oil that was best in dish, all the spices were used in proper proposition *Pav Bhaji Bruschetta - was good but the expectation was set up very high by the previous dish, so I found this dish not meeting those expectations. But my partner liked it and that was enough for me to understand that it is just me who was overwhelmed by the previous dish. This dish contained garlic bread sized toasted bread, upon which Bhaji was spread and that was it. Nothing fancy, nothing extra ordinary but a dish for a true pav bhaji lover. These were 5 in pieces *Spicy Spinach Dumplings - Dumplings were clearly very fresh and the flavour of the spicy sauce they were mixed into was amazing. NON VEG *Chicken Gyoza - It was available in Steamed and Pan Fried, both were amazing, and taste was so good, gyozas themselves pair decently well with the sauce, especially since I have mentioned the gyozas themselves taste pretty basic. The sauce tastes amazing and love them. *Crispy Chicken Lollipop - It’s very good appetizer. Whenever I dine out, I always have this as a starter and also, I am non-veg lover so it’s on my fav. too. *Banana Leaf Fish - This was a Thai dish, mixed with ground Thai herbs and spices, was wrapped in a couple layers of banana leaves, folded into a packet, and grilled, I loved the taste. *Crispy Prawn Wanton – It was crispy and one of my favourite, its was golden in colour deep fried and filled with Prawn and served with Thai chilli sauce and mayonnaise. MAIN COURSE *Steamed Rice *Kung Pao Paneer *Spring Onion Ginger Chicken *Sambal Prawns *Bak Mee Goreng (Veg/Chicken) The all main course was served on table so it a buffet lunch. DESSERT *Apple Crumble Tarts - Crisp, buttery, sweet shortcrust pastry, sharp apple filling and lots of crumbly topping, I loved it as it was not that too sweet. *Assorted Ice Cream with Toppings. Must visit place for Couples, Friends and Family too.

I got to know about this place from Google. So we thought it should be given a try. There was good parking space for cars as well as bikes. The lighting and ambiance was also good. No reservation required on a weekday. We ordered three different type of cuisines - Thai, Singaporean, and Japanese. Thai - Tom Yum Soup with chicken - the flavours were too strong for me. There was an overdose of lemon grass. I do not recommend this dish for people with likeness for mild flavours. Singaporean - Butter Garlic Prawns - just AMAZING !! Superb taste and the mouthwatering aroma of this dish made it my favourite before even I tasted it. Japanese - Udon Noodles with chicken - Delicious noodles with lesser spices. Chicken pieces were well cooked. I liked this dish as well. After the food and a little chit chat with the owner, I was informed that this place can also be reserved for private parties and celebrations. Overall an amazing experience. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Ps - I tried eating with chop sticks for the first time. It was fun.

First time to the Asian Box and I already feel it being my evening "go to" spot. Every dish is so appetizing! Especially the brownie is "something to kill for". Highly recommend this place for a nice gathering or even a solo.

Amazing authentic dishes. The ambience is lovely, but the main stars go to the staff they were courteous and extremely welcoming. Ambience: Indoor and outdoor seating available. Safety and Hygiene: Clean tables, cautious staff, nothing to worry about while you're here for meals or drinks. A great place for family, group of friends or cozy dates.

Fantastic oriental and far east cuisine ... Spacious , neat and clean place with dedicated parking space. Decent bar selection. Broad band menu with preparation from oriental and far east cuisine. Wanton Soup Veg ... Fine surfing of assorted veggies and garlic inside wantons. Medium bodied soup which was low on corn starch. Crunchy veggies in soup. Nice ! Kungpao Chicken ... tender chicken chunks in spicy kungpao sauce. Fantastic ! Banana Leaf Fish ... Piping hot , flavourful , melt in mouth Basa wrapped inside banana leaves. Mildly sweetish , hint of lemongrass and other spices. Highly recommend. Claypot Pepper Rice ... It was a meal wherein the back pepper rise served with veggies in sweetish black sauce. Fantastic ! Veggies in black bean sauce ... Assorted veggies including imported mushrooms served in blackbean sauce. Absolutely tasteful! Overall fantastic place. Dineout passport discount available.

Amazing and delicious Asian delicacies at this place. They have such interesting options to choose from and you can get to taste some great Asian flavours! The staff were really courteous and the service was good. The price of the dish is worth the flavours and nice presentation.
