Located exactly opposite to Bangladeshi consulate. Don't follow zomato location, you will then go round and round and wouldn't find the place. After entering, the ambience and decor will impress you and give you a royal mughal vibe. But unfortunately their food was a great disappointment. We Ordered awadhi and Kolkata biriyani. Kolkata biriyani was far better than awadh one. Over Fried onion rings were totally destroyed it's taste. Among Tandoori chicken and mutton tunday, tandoori chicken was below average. Extremely salty ,no aroma. When we asked sever about the issue, they told that they over mixed chaat masala accidentally. On the other hand mutton tunday was unexpectedly good. After Lucknow I found it that much good in Kolkata. I must admit their saahi tukra was top knotch. Perfectly cooked, not so dry and juicy. It is a must try dish in here. All dishes were averagely priced.

Visited here a few days back. It took some time to locate it. Had the chicken angara kebab which was very delicious served with activated charcoal. The service was a bit slow. For the mains we had chicken boneless masala and mutton special biryani. Both of them were really good, specially the chicken boneless masala. The gravy was very flavourful. Taste wise the food is really good. The amount of the chicken masala could have been more. The biryani has 2 pieces of mutton and 1 piece of egg and potato. We also took green apple mocktail.

Return to the golden age of the Mughal Emperors with your dining experience. The Awadh Restaurant near Park Circus, 7 point greets you with the ambience of an ancient palace and combines it perfectly with freshly prepared Awadhi cuisine. Antiquity leaps out at you from the brass glasses, from the salt and pepper holders as well as the brilliant lighting. Choose from over several different kebabs, drinks and biryani, among others. Satiate your taste buds with this platter of Murgh Malai kebab or Achari Kebab with a dash of green chutney. Or maybe a platter of Cheese/Butter Naan with a bowl of Chicken Reshmi Butter Masala is more to your taste? And of course...what's a Mughal meal without Biriyani? The Awadh Restaurant also brings to the flavours of the city in a soothing blue hue. Aptly titled Blue Kolkata, it definitely helps you wash down your royal dinner.

The Awadh restaurant located near park circus is easy to locate as its right in front of the road. The place is very spacious and has a seating of 80 people. The place has a very aesthetic and brags a very royal fine dining. This place has an array of kebabs and biryani. Mutton tunday kebab: This is probably the best kebab you can have at awadh. The taste blends in perfectly. Roasted Mutton: Perfect flavours and the mutton is very tasty and not chewy at all. Chicken Angari Kebab: served in a royal pot with steaming flavours which is very tasty and lip-smacking. Chicken cheese kebab: the cheese flavours with kebab is perfect. The cheese melts perfectly and you can savour the taste. The awadhi mutton biryani: The biryani flavour is very delicious and perfect. Its very light and not oily at all. Chicken biryani: The flavour was perfect, recommended Chicken lababdar : The curry was delicious the chicken was well cooked and tender Garlic bread : probably the best garlic bread I ever had, it's so tasty that you can eat it without any side dish. Mutton Lahori: Really good flavours of the curry. Shahi Tukra : Very different from any other place and it's such tasty probably gonna make you crave for more, did to me. Will be visiting soon and often for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I visited the place when it was very new, it's right beside biryani giants like Arsalan and Haji Saheb, i visited this place since i had a flare of trying new things and i wasn't dissapointed at all. The staff is very hospitable and the biryani they serve is just heaven exploding in your mouth. The aaloo in the biryani is the king, soft and flavorful. Each picture of the biryani attached is of each time i had visited this place, it's totally worth coming back for. I haven't attached picture of salad and firni but they're amazing as well.

The owner has changed so the name of this place has also changed. Now it is called 'The Magical Palace' instead of Awadh Restaurant. The food is as usual quite good and tasty. Ambience is also very good and neat. Price is reasonable and affordable Would recommend everyone to dine in at least once.

One of the best experiences. This is such an underrated gem. People give hype to tjose restaurants who have big names but low quality food. Try the magical kebab once.
