Spent a wonderful evening with friends here. Employees of the hotel and restaurant were polite, the deck and view absolutely wonderful, especially during sunset. The drinks are a tad overpriced, but quality of everything is decent enough. But the USP of this place is definitely the view.

A unique restaurant in Kolkata with restaurants in a ship deck ,the place offers a great view of howrah and it's a pleasant place to spend a lot of time in. The breakfast buffet was priced around 400-600 and could have more options added ,the taste was good and staff really helpful.

The Bridge is the restaurant in the Polo Floatel Kolkata. It's inside the Jetty stand in Kolkata and the floating hotel is made in the launch. There is rooftop restaurant which offers a serene view of the river Hooghly from its rooftop river side. Food is little expensive but it's definitely worth the view and quality. We went for snacks and enjoyed the evening beauty of Kolkata. It's just mesmerizing. Welcome wise it was good enough to come back again. People who are looking for experiencing a beautiful evening with family on a riverside and also a serene sunset must visit atleast once to experience something new.

The restaurant is full of inadequete and incompetent staff. They do not address you when you cant find a table. You have to find a table for yourself. Now if you find a table they dont clean it and you have to wait 10 mins and keep asking them to clean it. Now in the table you wont find any cutlery, tissues until and unless you ask for it several times. They serve you water after asking 4 times in a row. The waiters address ladies Tum/Tumi..... After asking several times they provided roasted peanuts with my drink which was soft and stale, seemed like it was served to someone else before me. I ordered a Rum which was Rs 249 as per there menu. But when the bill comes its written 2 Rums Rs 498. According to them, with no mention in the menu it is supposed to be 30 ml peg. So they are taking the price for 2 pegs as they had served me a 60ml. As far as my knowledge goes, even 5 star retaurants like the Bridge, at The Park being a 5 star hotel charges Rs 350 for 60 ml Rum and they have a proper menu mentioning the same. But this restaurant seems to be all stars with their quality of service and the price of food. This was my last visit to this place. And I will advise everyone to avoid such a place where they con you and provide you such a horrible service in return of the huge amount of money you spend. Last but not the least...they dont provide valet after 10 pm. The gaurd just handed over me the key and asked to find my car by myself.

The ambiance was quite satisfactory and atmosphere was quite with ganges beauty to look for. Food served were also nice, service was also quick, staff were professional and the most important they asked about each food items we had. Starters were not available on that particular day but overall we loved the food. We had Panner tikka, manchow soup, pindi cholle, cheese khulcha and garlic naan. All dishes were quite tasty and the prices were also reasonable.

the pink elephant mocktail is good, but the fish fry falls flat and the crispy chilli babycorn is terrible - somehow manages to be hard yet not crispy.

Great ambience and atmosphere but food is overly expensive and the standard is not upto the mark. Terrible lachha Paratha and very hard mutton in mutton kosha. Also they are levying a service charge 5% (and GST on service charge) which by law a restaurant cannot impose forcibly. . Service is not very fast.
