β β β β β Well, we expected more. The food was on the good side. Their wine menu was elaborate but they didn't have anything we were asking for. At the end, we asked them to get what they had and had to choose from those options.
The service wasn't great either. Our order was forgotten and had to tell the drinks order again later, which again took time.
These might be nitpicks but you expect everything to be great from a premium 5 star hotel's restaurant.

β β β β β Seems like more of hype than substance.Visited for a dinner celebration but the experience was average.Staff were not at all hospitable.Service too slow.Cocktails were nothing great. Food portions were less. They served one portion of 3 Baos for a group of 4.Staff had no co-ordination among themselves ,one by one they were repeatedly hurrying to take order for main course. Ambience was good though, although compact.Seating and deco had sufficient dust allover.Prices are extremely steep compared to the average experience.Better avoid this over-hyped place.Much better Chinese restaurants offer better food taste and experience at much reasonable pricing.

β β β β β I had a great time at the Lantern. It's beautifully decorated and the staff is polite. We opted for chef's special Dim sum (there was a 5 different types in the basket) and I didn't felt anything special and I ended up missing the dim sum from Hakkasan, Mumbai. Cheung fung was surprisingly better than the Dim sum.
For the main course, their burnt garlic fried rice is a must and treasure vegetables in Kin Yam sauce didn't fail to satisfy my taste buds.
We tried martini and margarita. I ended up ordering Martini for the second time. Totally loved it.
For the desert, the selection is limited and their Choco lava cake is no different from what you can buy at Domino's. Chilled pumpkin puree with tender coconut was something different and was filled with flavours.

β β β β β Sweet restaurant in Ritz Carlton with slightly different decor to usual Chinese cuisine restaurants. Courteous staff who explained the dishes well which had authentic Chinese flavours.

β β β β β Visited for a weekday dinner with my spouse. The request to have the table decorated with candles and flowers was followed and the waitress was kind enough to walk us to our seating
The staff in general was polite and patient explaining the menu and recommending the signature dishes
We ordered the chicken coriander dumplings and soup for starter. Baring the quantity of the dishes, everything was spectacular, this place is particularly known for their dumpling basket so do try that out
We ordered the wok noodles with kung pao chicken for the mains. Loved the noodles, very fresh and perfectly seasoned. The chicken was well cooked but the sauce was too sweet and had overload of cashews
For dessert we ordered the tender coconut ice cream which was delectable
Overall a classic fine dining experience where the services trump over portion size. I wonβt call it the best Marriott restaurant experience I have had but just for the overall experience, worth a try
Cost for 2: INR 4000 approx

β β β β β Went for dinner on Valentine's Day. Food was good. Ambience was good. Setting was done very neatly. Felt it was expensive especially for the vegetarian menu but it was tasty

β β β β β A wonderful and peaceful ambience. The food was great. The duck rolls and the varities of dumplings they have, just wow. The cocktails they make are mind blowing. You guys should try the "Roasted Litchi and Lime".
