Thorat's Baarbeque Misal located in Versova, Andheri west, has a unique and charming concept of serving Misal  to customers.. Their unlimited misal and baarbeque concept has gone viral, and people adore it. The staff is also quite good and polite. With missal you get poha, curd, potato vegetable, farsan. They have four different types of misals in the form of a baarbeque: 1) Nashik missal - This missal is made with special Nasik spices and has a dark coloured gravy; it is my favourite of the four types of missals. 2) Kolhapuri missal - This is one of the spiciest missals of the four; however, it should not be overly spicy so that everyone can enjoy it. 3) Jain missal - This missal is made entirely of Jain ingredients and is also known as a Jain-friendly missal. 4) Puneri missal - This missal is a combination of sweet and savoury flavours. Do visit them and enjoy their unlimited misal

This particular restaurant is no comparison to other restaurants from the same franchise. The restaurant is not maintained well, the owner is arrogant, the taste is compromised. There’s a batter restaurant from the same franchise around 5 KM in baner, visit that instead to experience Thorat’s barbeque misal. And the music is like pub, playing at full volume.

Recently visited this amazing place in Andheri West wherein you’ll can have some delicious BBQ missal which will cost you around 120/- and the main catch is it is unlimited. They have different kinds of missal kohlapuri missal, Jain missal, puneri missal, Nashik missal. So kohlapuri missal is very spicy so if you can tolerate spice you should definitely try this out. The second dish which we tried was puneri missal it was very tangy and chattpatta. This was one of my favourite you can always opt for this one. The third one was nashik missal and it was very new to me because it was made of black beans and it was served with boiled potatoes, beans, poha, curd, onions and lemons. You can try this out if you want to try something new in missal. They’ll also give unlimited farsan along with pav which cherry on top. Loved it definitely going to visit again. Highly recommended place.

I was invited to try the Misal at their new  Aundh branch. About the restaurant, the place is not that huge but with an ample amount of seating. So basically Thorat's Barbeque Misal offers unlimited misal. So also its MAKE YOUR MISAL. The twist is that they offer 4 types of Rassa served on live Barbeque settings with burning charcoal and all. Talking about types of Rassa they provide Jain, Puneri, Kolhapuri and Nashik. Kolhapuri Misal as the name suggests is the spiciest of all. It gives the perfect kick of the spices. Next one is the Puneri one, a little bit less spicy than the fiery red Kolhapuri one. Perfect for a person like me. The third one is the Nashik one. This one was mild but delicious. Tried for the first time and I liked it. And the fourth one is Jain Rassa. Jain Rassa was a little bit on a sweeter note. Also, there were sides like pohe, batata bhaji, sprouts, curd, onions and lemon. Along with it were pav served with Farsan. Everything was served unlimited. Also tasted  Lassi and Buttermilk. All are flavour-some and perfect. Overall a nice experience
