★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit place if you are a history enthusiast. Uvarsad Ni Vaav gives you a general idea of how Stepwells have developed over time.
Moreover, there are efforts being made to set-up an Information Centre regarding Stepwells.
We visited the place as a Social Initiative under Atulya Bharat Mission and Samvedna(GLS J.P. Shah BBA). The main objective was to clean the place and spread awareness regarding 'Swachhta' in the village. The other objective was to get students to popularize the place as a Tourist Attraction and Heritage Spot via students.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not well maintained at all by the authorities. The place is dirty and with litter and beats all over. The well is dry and there is no safety net on it. Made with bricks it looks good and historical but at the same time because of litter, smells bad...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not go with high expectations or with an intention to show case this Vav to a visitor.
In present state, almost whole Vav is covered with shrubs and plants with lots of litter. So try find your way to bottom through the left out spacese. In Vav.
Situated on main road it's easily noticed and is a basic Vav without any architecture work or carvings and idol. All must have been either misplaced or not preserved.
A lot is published in newspaper of this place but after present visit it appears it's all much exaggerated and disappointing.
Unlike other Vavs, both locals and govt.bodies need to get into action mode to preserve what's left of this historical monument besides Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad.
Open all days.
