★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost all the buses to Shimla drop passengers at this point. Therefore, the Victory Tunnel acts as the front of the city.
As soon as you get down from the bus, local scouts may surround you offering packages for stay and visits. If you have come unprepared, you may consider their offer but do checkout the hotels before committing.

Victory Tunnel, constructed in 1945 to link the Railway station and main Bus stand, remains the busiest. The tunnel was opened immediately after the celebration of the victory of Allied forces over the Axis powers on May 8, 1945.
