Biriyani is not good. The rice was sticky in nature. Perhaps it was made a long time back and served after heating it. The mutton in the biriyani required 2 persons to tear. As well as the mutton in the side dish (mutton kosha) was hard as well. Overall not good. The firni they served looked just like Mishti Doi. Didn't expected eating firni which tasted and looked just like Mishti doi. The amount biriyani was not enough. There are other good biriyani joints. I am comparing with my previous experience at other biriyani joints like D Bapi, Dada Boudi, Arsanal and Rehan's restaurant ( must try).

It is one of our favourite restuarants in esplanade area of Kolkata. Their tandoori roti and rezala is very good. Also, we liked the halem they served during ramzan. But do mot go for biriyani there if you go by my taste. If you have spare time while in esplanade and is craving for some moglai food give this place adjacent to paradise a try. It is worth the money and time. Very economical.

The mutton chaap is highly recommended and the chicken biryani was definitely an above average meal. The portion size and taste of firni was also excellent even though I would say it is a bit heavy. The staff were courteous and the service was prompt. At the time I was there there were empty tables available even though people were constantly pouring in and out. The menu is short and precise which was helpful as I always get confused when there are several menu options. The decor is a bit dated and chairs were uncomfortable and definitely needs an update. But I wasn't there to eat the chairs so I was willing to tolerate it this once

Excellent ambiance and good staff. Food is just awsome. Prices are very reasonable. All over a great experience. Had tandoori roti with chicken chap and rumali roti and chicken butter masala. Both are just awsome.

Though it's very famous for its mughlai foods but it seems me the food is overrated, we ordered Mutton keema , Mutton stew , Butter naan , Special Mutton Biriyani . Keema was average taste not so spicy missing the flavour , Stew was good rich gravy and mutton pieces properly cooked , it goes well with Butter naan But the main problem is the Biriyani , it was dry , mutton pieces were lacking it's taste and meat was not tender. Most of all biriyani has no taste lacking salt and it's aroma. Otherwise service was good and ambience of the first floor is good.
