★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is situated at the bank of hoogly (ganga) river. There is 2 platform and is part of circular line which is single line track. Within 100 meter baghbazar ferry launch is available to go Howarah by crossing the river in 20 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One Computerised reservation center for half day and one uts counter are there as per train schedule as this is a railway station in circular railway route only few trains pass by the station. Outside the reservation counter area is very small and occupied by nearby slum people and used to be dirty in general and security guards are also not seen except morning and evening time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a Computerised Passenger Reservation Terminal for Railway passengers situated near Bagbazar Circular Railway Station on Mohit Moitra Sarani Bagbazar, Kolkata -700003. Two counter available here but only one counter is working. Baghbazar Railway Booking Counter is very dirty and contested by scraps and other unused materials. Service are also very dull and lake of maintenance.
