★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small and beautiful fort has an impressive entrance gate with islamic arches and the fort rampart walls are intact across the area with some damages here and there.There's nothing inside except the tiny ruins of base of missing palace structures covered with forest grass.The step well inside the fort that can be entered from several directions is little unique and excellent though there's little water in it.there's lot of dead fossilised sculpture in the form of red colour uma maheshwara,yellow stone narshima with hiranyakasipu and few other damaged sculpture placed at the entrance is ok to feel the bygone history of the times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This fort is situated in the heart of the city. Getting there is a bit difficult by car but not impossible. Roads are too narrow. A must see place if you like historical monuments.
For many years this was unattended and most of it's structure has been demolished. There remains a gate, deep well, some few demolished room structures and huge boundary wall on all 4 sides.
This fort has some caretakers who can guide you about the remains. It is open to visitors from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm all days.
Now the local authorities have cleared up this place and looks better.
Recommend to go there with your shoes as there are large stairs and slippery on a rainy day.

There is a beautiful garden in this fort ,
And there's a lot of space for the old, the young and the little ones to hang out and play....
