★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic time less shirts- both formal and informal that wear beautifully for decades . The staff provide service that's attentive , knowledgeable but is not intrusive . The Indian store in Indira Bangalore more than lives up to Brooks Brothers reputation and the gentleman who helped , Cariappa was as good as they get.
Have liked and used this brand for a long time overseas and acquainted myself with it again at the outlet here.
The designs , particularly of formal shirts , brought down to India, are on the conservative side. And the range relatively limited. The much higher end and the far cheaper ones appear to have been avoided for the Indian operations.
These shirts are 100% supima cotton that stays unwrinkled and fresh even after a long day and looks the same for years if taken care of. They have begun to play around with the composition , introducing a few percentages of stretch into the cotton for a few lines.
Expensive by Indian standards but for those using formal wear , it's a smart buy. They have great casual wear but in that segment there are lots of other brands that don't last as long but are cut far more stylishly .
The cut and fit remain conservative , though they are trying out slimmer fits... but then BB has always been that way...even in its casual wear .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, Super Duper expensive place, and still they don't have a good collection. Rs. 6000/- for a T-shirt or Rs. 8000/- for a shirt or a trouser and that too not a color of your choice. Not sure, what is that brand about or why is it so expensive. When asked staff about it. They just say its brand value. So no importance to material workmanship, etc. Its only the name. Thanks.

Complete range of men formal and smart casual clothing, accessories are available. Their customer oriented approach is worth mentioning.
