Hotel appeared to be good on the first day. A nice decent swimming pool, in front of the road etc. But that's it. The food is overpriced. Even big big restaurants have a little lower price. Not enough variety and food taste is also not very great.
Second day was the worst day. Firstly the bathroom was already smelling all day from day 1. Day 2 we discovered bed bugs on the swimming pool chairs and we complained. We then found bed bugs in our room balcony chairs. I called for the reception to check. They refused to acknowledge it as a problem. Then they sprayed HIT and assured they have cured everything.
DON'T BOOK here i repeat DON'T BOOK here.
Instead go to Abhigyama Hotel which we realised after coming here that we should have booked there. Similar price but world class.
Don't book here if you have a choice. Even if no other choice go somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good hotel .Neat rooms, plus point being the lovely roof top pool.Quality food specially the breakfast spreadout is very good. Hope the restaurant staff work more on their communications skills with the customers and is more service oriented and cordial . The name sea view is little misleading though as you can only have a glimpse of the ocean amidst the far away trees standing on your balcony

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good hotel in New Digha where I stayed with my family for 2.5 days. We stayed at room 302, 303 and 304. Our stay was fine though we observed an odd thing - occasionally entire floors of our two rooms (one after another) were getting wet and as per hotel staffs its due to very humid weather condition outside and there is temperature difference.
All rooms having modern western style toilets and well cleaned interiors. Wifi speed was very fast and every room smart TV (mi) has inbuilt Google casting service and I loved them.
The Rooftop swimming pool is the best, child friendly as depths were less. Complementary breakfast is awesome and I loved all menu items specially masala dosa and continental dishes. Hotel staffs are very polite.
The hotel name sea view is little misleading as nereast beach (straight line) is almost 10 mins walking distance from hotel. Before visiting I thought our booked sea facing rooms were cool but in reality I didn't see any sea, the front area is totally full of trees like a mini forest.
Still I liked the hotel and our short stay was beautiful. Would love to visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful Hotel with lovely hospitality. Well behaved staff did not even make me feel that hotel is running with very low occupancy and low staff strength. Good food with reasonable cost. Only negetive point is sea can not be seen from room or balcony

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an awesome experience. Especially Mr Milan Sahoo was very helpful and generous. The hotel staff is extremely polite. The Restaurants is one of the best, they have the best chef I must say. Quality of food was just awesome

Club Room size is good enough but the ambience of the room is a big disappointment and the washroom adds on to it which gives you a feel of railway station retiring room. Cleanliness of the room and the washroom is again negative. The isle gives a feel of mediocre hotel. Overall, comparing the rate of the hotel, the experience wasn't good enough.
Personally, won't recommend!
Ambience of the hotel and the room leaves a bigger impact which was a complete let down. The experience was not good enough and was a big disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is good ambience & look wise , but the staffs behaviour are not friendly.... they will never greet you nicely neither they wear a smile on their face. No welcome drink provided at the time of check-in.
The roof top pool side is beautiful & food taste is also good despite a little pricey.
The breakfast buffet taste was only average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been a fantastic experience at Cygnett in sea view (New digha) Fantastic sea view from the room and as well as from the roof also. All the hotel staffs are excellent specially the team which r incharge of the Cygentt pavilion. food was very tasty. hotel staffs behavior just touched my heart. washroom design needs to be changed immediately for customer experience and a baby pool should be there for the kids. SUPER LIKE and BIG 👠for cygnett in sea view
