β β β β β Although I liked the stay at this Hotel, there are certain things that stopped me from giving it a 5 star rating. First of all, the location of the Hotel is the best. As soon as you step out of Digha Railway Station, you enter this hotel. Its not even a 1 minute walk. The Hotel is kind of a 5 star hotel in the locality. The reception and staffs are friendly and accomodating. The food is great at the price point it is offered. However there are few things that need attention. The common washroom at the reception area was dirty and smelling. Not expected from a Hotel of this level. They keep the lift closed on weekdays saying it is under maintenance so thats a trouble for the visitors. You can't fool your visitors with such lame reasons. They don't keep the balcony clean and the outdoor unit of the AC was leaking water.

β β β β β I like this hotel very much. I will definitely stay here in my next trip for digha. Accomodation are very good there are only one phone call away for your any need. Privacy. Cleanliness. Good food. Polite behaviour of every hotel crew.

β β β β β Conveniently located, just a stone throw from Digha Railway Station. The hotel itself is very clean and all COVID-19 measures are in place. Rooms are quite good and comes with a large balcony. Staff are very helpful and super courteous. We had dinner and breakfast, and the taste is average.

β β β β β I booked a Super Deluxe Cabin for Christmas weekend with my wife and 6 month old daughter. The room itself was very spacious and well designed. The hotel is located just beside the railway station in New Digha. The popular tourist spots like New Digha Beach, Aquarium, Science centre and Amravati parks are all within 10 minutes from the hotel. Unlike most hotels in Digha, Le Roi is located away from the hustle bustle of the market area, amidst tall trees and greenery, offering a refreshing experience to its guests.
Ambience and decoration- 5/5
Food quality and taste- 5/5
Staff behaviour- 5/5
Room cleanliness- 5/5
3 things that really impressed us:
1. They gave all guests a Christmas special hamper consisting of some eatables and fruit juices.
2. Evening live song performance on Saturday night.
3. They even offered us a baby cot for free for our 6 month old daughter (we didn't even ask for one by the way). A little courtesy does go a long way!
I'm a fan of this place. Would love to come back again soon.
PS- A swimming pool would be a welcome addition to the hotel

β β β β β Pleasant stay. Awesome hospitality. They truly and professionally know how to keep their guests comfortable. Very convenient location if you are arriving by train or buses arriving to New Digha bus terminal. Some might find food to be a little over budget but there are a few restaurants around as alternative.

β β β β β It was a lovely experience. The hotel was fantastic. The staff behavior was extremely good and room service was always available, right on time. The lady receptionist was very nice and all the staff were so cooperative and well behaved. I am extremely satisfied hence taking this time out to write a big review. I am very satisfied and would recommend this hotel, highly. It's just next to the station and very convenient stay and distance.

β β β β β Hotel property was well maintained. Warm hospitality. Safety hygiene protocols strictly followed. Its just beside the Digha station and you don't even have to get out of it to go to the hotel. Sea beach is approx 500 m away and that distance won't feel long if you take a stroll with friends and family.
Only point where I would recommend Improvemet is on the food.

β β β β β Quite a relatively good hotel, relatively modern & well maintained, restaurant had a good variety of food and well located because its right next to the train station and close to the beach. My only problems with this hotel although mostly minor are that some rooms are near a very noisy exhaust fan (for which me and my family had to change rooms), its location next to the train station while convenient can also mean that the loud train horns can wake you up (though that wasn't a major problem for me) and while the hotel is well-maintained for the most part (better than the previous hotel I and my family stayed during our previous trips to Digha), cleanliness could be improved in some areas - 1) when my room was cleaned, I noticed there was still a few bits of dirt on the floor (a vacuum cleaner/hoover would be useful for that), and 2) the table mats for which the plates were placed on in the restaurant looked a bit dirty so it would be useful to either get them cleaned or replace them with cleaner ones after people finish eating.
