Food, service n ambience everything was very average. Menu has a lot of variety but kitchen doesn't. Lot of scope to improve.

This restaurant is very nice and the abience is very good the place provides a peaceful dining experience but the main problem is the less amount of the food provided there so better to buy more quantity so it will be enough for you to have a relaxed meal....... . . . . . ................. . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . .. .. . . . . . . . .. .. . . . . . . . . . . .. .. . . . . .. . . .. . . . . . . . .. . .. . .. . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . .. . . . .. . . . . . . . . . .. . . . .. . . . .. .......................... ........... .......... ......... .......... ......... ......... ........... Super fine dining at really affordable prices, that's how we'd like to sum up our visit to Dine In Stories! The ambiance and decor of this restaurant is really plush and once you enter you really feel the grandeur! We got ourselves a nice comfortable spot and started with our mocktails and starters For drinks we had: Virgin Watermelon Margarita - Sprightly with a sensational dash of colour, this one was slightly salted and had a chatpata-ish taste with the freshness of watermelon! Super refreshing. Ginger Beer - Loaded with a strong flavour of ginger with a hint of lemon and orange, this drink too we really loved and enjoyed the pop of colors these two drinks added to our table. For starters we had: Paneer Tikka Sandwich: If all sandwiches turn out to be like this, you'd never stop having a sandwich. Taking a simple Paneer Tikka and giving it a sandwich twist is pure genius. The paneer cubes had a mix of pesto and chutney for stuffing and was a total knock out! Potato Bravas: Young potatoes with spiced mayo which has a subtle yet interesting taste. These quick bites go superbly well with mocktails. For Mains we had: Malai Kofta: Soft pillowy kesar koftas in a rich and mildly sweet cashew gravy, this Indian dish had richness written all over it. Subtle yet delicious flavours! Paneer Lababdar: Fresh Paneer with a rich and creamy red gravy which is not too tangy or harsh on your palate. Perfect for family and kids. Malabari Paratha and Butter Kulcha: What amazing Indian breads for accompaniment. Rolled brilliantly and cooked to perfection these ones were so good with our gravies! Desserts: Panna Cotta: This one will give you Masterchef Australia feels! The jiggly feels of the perfect panna cotta and that perfect presentation, you almost don't want to break this dessert! Mouse A rich chocolate ganache mousse with a red velvet base which is not overly sweet. This one was surprisingly good! Over all, we loved having a wholesome dinner at Dine In Stories and would highly recommend this restaurant!

24/7 dining wanted? Dine In Stories probably heard the “dil ki pukaar” of foodies in Navi Mumbai and opened doors recently at Palm Beach Galleria. I visited the restaurant on invite and sampled a few things from their menu. Starting off with the mocktails, I tried the following - SPARKLING CRANBERRY - This one had an incredible flavour combo of cranberry and lime juice. I couldn’t stop at just one sip of this drink. Definitely a must have. BLOODY MARY (non-alcoholic) - This drink is for those of us who are a health conscious. Get your shot of nutrition via this tomato based drink that’s also spiked with spicy chilly for flavour. LITCHI PUNCH - Lychee syrup, pineapple syrup, and some vanilla ice cream are use to prepare this drink. It was nice but I wasn’t particularly impressed with the drink as it was slightly too sweet for my taste. From the food menu, I got to try the following - RESHMI PANEER TIKKA - While the paneer was soft, I somehow felt the need for a little more marination. Maybe reducing the size of the paneer cubes can also help distribute flavours better. The marinade which was malai (Cream) based was mild and tasted nice. However, I do feel that there’s scope for improvement here. CRISPY CORN - Was pleasantly surprised to see baby corn replacing the ubiquitous crispy paneer and potato. I’m not much of a baby corn fan, but the dish was nicely made with a typical spicy but also slightly sweet flavour coming through, and is definitely worth ordering from the appetiser section. COTTAGE CHEESE STEAK - Mixed feelings again, here. I loved the Andhra style masalas coating the paneer - the chilly was quite prominent, as is generally the case. Curry leaves and green chillies added that essential “tadka”. However, there seemed to be too little of the masalas to uplift the otherwise bland paneer. PANEER LABABDAAR and BUTTER NAAN - perhaps the softest butter naan and the cheesiest paneer subzi I’ve ever had - absolutely loved this combo. For me this was the highlight of the meal. The tomato based gravy was just the right degree of spicy and the naan was soft even after staying out for a while. This is a must have here. For desserts I tried the following - CREME BRÛLÉE - The perfect snap of the torched sugar on top, followed by the most perfect custard base - loved the creme brûlée here. The dish isn’t sickeningly sweet either, which is a blessing, especially when one wants dessert but doesn’t want to have an overdose of sugar. 10/10 will recommend. CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE - A delectably delicious looking dish, this buttery smooth mousse is just what a chocolate lover needs to satisfy their craving. Again, not saccharine sweet, this dish gets their balance and proportions absolutely right. I abandoned all of the logic of portion control post the first bite and I’m sure you will too. Dine In Stories is excellently placed in terms of its location. Being on the main road in a popular area is always a great draw. The ambience is characterised by minimalistic decor that focuses on the darker shades of the palette, punctuated by an acceptable dose of pinks and whites. It’s neatly done up, and spacious, and also has a space with a mezzanine floor for when you want a bit of privacy. My primary concern here is the service, which to me, requires some improvement. The service staff should be provided a little more training in soft skills to improve overall confidence and the ability to interact with customers. Overall, I would rate the place as follows (on a scale of 5) Food - 4 Ambience - 4 Service - 3 Wow factor (24/7 dining) - 5 Overall - 4/5 Navi Mumbai has finally found its answer to 24/7 hunger pangs, and while I feel like some points an be improved on, some of the things available here are definitely worth a shot.
