There will be a common memorial site for conducting last rites of national leaders,instead of having separate samadhis from them.
A common memorial site was proposed following concerns over shrinking land space in the capital and the huge amount of money spent on the upkeep of samadhis. The Urban Development ministry is also carrying out work to create an integrated path through all the samadhis.

β β β β β Samta sthal is a beautiful Memorial place in memory of Babu Jagjivan Ram the freedom fighter and the leader of scheduled classes people . A beautiful well maintained Garden green ground make it a peaceful place.

β β β β β Virtually illmanaged place. No proper signage inside the place. At least name of late leader should be inscribed on the samadhi. It is more of a public park than an honour to the deceased leader.
